If I'm not training in the evening, lunch is my last carb heavy meal.
I still probably get 30 net carbs at dinner (6-7pm) through onions, tomatoes and other veggies.
The merit of reducing carbs in the evening can be challenged. If glycogen stores are not full, the fact that sleep looms doesn't mean they will turn into fat. It could be argued cals in v cals out is more significant, and that given a small calorie surplus, the bulk will be clean even if dinner contains carbs.
I just figure that (1) I train in the morning, so my more anabolic meals should occur then; (2) good habits bulking make cutting easier.
