lat pull down and traps

A lat pull down will hit pretty much every muscle in your back, including traps. It, like any other excercise, hits some muscles more directy than others. However, I would not expect much trap benefit from pull downs.

mid/lower traps will definitely get some benefit from this. most people on here think "shrug" with traps(basically the upper traps) but actually any row will hit the traps immensely, just not the upper traps (that people immediately think of) as much (if you row correctly)

Good point. When I people ask about traps, I automatically think of upper (more visble) traps. It's a trap I fall into sometimes.

(thank you, thank you very much) :)
