re spatt's proportions post - ah but the average size 16 / US 14 (ie me) is a lot lardier than yourself and the other bb ladies on here
.
I have some one-size-fits-most stuff - generally means "proportions of a tent, no shape, no cut, no design" -but generally for 5 pounds (7 dollars) in New Look I don't care.
My various fishnet shirts and hippy indian dresses are like this. The dresses are the type that have you adjust the fit by tying attached ribbons round the back to make the waist smaller. The fishnet stuff stretches, in my case, a lot.
But my pet hate is tights (panty hose) that are big enough in the legs but too small for my fat tum so they fall down to crotch height and are in danger of falling down altogether grrr. The Sock Shop are guilty of this, their Showstoppers range comes in just one size that does NOT fit my stomach....
Luckily Marks and Spencers hosiery dept products don't have this problem.
Also, Cyberdog is one-size-fits-skinny-coke-snorting-clubbing-techno-kid only. And that does NOT fit me, which is a pity, coz I really like the astronaut dresses.
Time to go do some crunches, methinks.
