Consider it done...

I'm glad he did right by himself before he met the Big Guy. Timing is everything.

What part of the world are they in. I'm always hiring. May be able to find someting she could do from home.

Georgia. She is a teacher's aide and works some at the after school program. She makes VERY little. I don't think she could make more anywhere else due to paying for child care.

Thank you for taking the time to read it.

What's her background? Any education beyond HS? How old is she? Special training? Can she sell? If I have something for her, all she needs is a 'puter. Then she can stay home with the kids, and nix the expense.

That is a possibility. The only drawback I would see would be her loss on insurance, etc. I'll check though.

My employees have EXCELLENT benefits, and if I don't have something for her, one of my brothers and one of my sisters also own companies that engage in alot of off-site work.

I know this is the last thing on her mind right now. Later, when she has to deal with the job, support, etc...let me know if/how I can help.

Does she have an atty to make sure her ins co doesn't low ball her on the acc death/dismember clause? Soc Sec? Life Ins? There are so many ways she can be helped, financially. I believe in GA her kids will also be eligible for state supplied medical coverage until she stops claiming them. Will check...

Please check on that for me....

The program is called Peachcare.

The number for application is 1-877-GAPEACH
or you can save 2-4 weeks processing time by applying at www.peachcare.com

She must meet the following requirements (and I think she does):

1. Less than 34K per year

2. No medicaid

3. No other insurance for 3months unless there's a death
in the family

4. Not employed byt he State of GA

This will cover kids up to 6 for free, but will not cover her. Kids over 6 are UP TO $750 per month depending on income.

If her income is low enough to qualify for Medicaid, it will cover her and the children for free.

The PeachCare program will cover 100% of medical, dental, sight, and prescription coverage.

I spoke with Mary ( I think) at the 1-877 number.

Thank you so much, I will pass this along. She is employed by the State as a teacher aide, but she could probably make that elsewhere with the benefits of the above program. Thank again.

She got a full-time slot till the end of this school year due to a pregnancy leave. SHe is also taking night-classes to finish out her degree and will be full time(on a provisional) starting next year.

The two children are doing well.

The murderers(the trigger person was a woman) were denied bond and are set to go on trial later this spring.

I really think that the generosity and kind words from Elite really made a difference as she has told me this many times.

Thank you again.
