L. Lin Wood said during an interview last Wednesday with regard to Kate Faber, "She’s not the slut that she’s been made out to be. " According to Laie, a former friend of Kate Faber, a more honest representation would have been she’s more of "the slut" than she’s been made out to be. In another words the press has given her a free pass on most of her past sexual history and conduct for various reasons. These representations by Lin Wood and John Clune are laughable at best. Here are just some of the problems with Lin Wood’s representation of Kate Faber, and Faber’s story itself. Kate Faber slept with approximately 30 different guys in a six month period. That averages out to be more than one different guy each week. At that rate, from the time Kate Faber entered college though the time she was with Kobe Bryant. This would mean that Kate Faber probably slept with approximately 54 different guys in about a 10 month period prior to her encounter with Kobe Bryant. It could be said, if it walks like a slut, talks like a slut, and acts like a slut, it just might be "the slut that she’s been made out to be. "
This next point clearly demonstrates that Lin Wood, John Clune, and Kate Faber are in this for the money. To take issue with the courts accidental release of documents that contained Kate Faber's name as their basis to drop the criminal complaint and pursue civil litigation is a joke. Kate Faber's name has been out there and known to most everyone in the free world long before any of these documents were accidently released. As to Kate Faber's reputation. This isn't the first time that Kate Faber"allegedly" slept with three different men during a three day period, as has been reported with regard to the days surrounding the Kobe Bryant incident. Laie knew of at least one previous occasion where Kate Faber had slept with three different guys over a three day period, and times where she slept with two guys within a three day period. But again, according to Lin Wood that doesn’t make Kate Faber "the slut that she’s been made out to be. "There could be some disagreement with that, along with some other representations Wood and Clune have made on behalf of Kate Faber.
In addition Kate Faber had planned to lure Eminem into his hotel room using an approach very similar to the circumstances surrounding the Kobe Bryant incident. Kate Faber had an ongoing infatuation with sleeping with celebrities. This started when she slept with a Justin Timberlake look-alike. I guess if you can't get the real thing, a look-alike will have to do. Kate Faber actually met him in line during her American Idol audition. We aren't releasing his name because he had no idea what he was dealing with when he slept with Faber. By the way, in case you missed it, they ended up back at his hotel room also.
How many "not the slut" do you know of that have gone to bed with a guy, so that the guy could earn his "red wings. "For those of you that may not know what it means to earn your "red wings," ask any college level individual, or do a search on the internet. You will be disgusted when you realize what this "not the slut" will do for attention, as well as to help a guy earn their "red wings". And I’m not talking about a bloody hockey game involving the Detroit Red Wings either.
Kate Faber’s planned suicide attempts appear to be nothing more than a way to get the attention she so badly sought according to Laie. This includes the first effort Kate Faber made at an "alleged" suicide attempt that has not been reported by the main stream media up to this point. Also let’s not forget about Kate Faber’s behavior at dorm parties, house parties, restaurants, and bars all designed to make herself the center of attention no matter what it took.
Maybe Lin Wood wants to contend that Kate Faber is "not the slut she’s been made out to be. "But by definition from when I went to school Kate Faber would have been by far the biggest slut in the history of our class. Even the worst so called "slut" I went to school with didn’t sleep with approximately 30 different guys over a 24 week period. But I'll let you determine in your mind what you would constitute a slut to be.
This isn’t about justice; this is about attention, money, and fame. During the entire time that Kate Faber and Laie were friends, Faber was fixated on becoming a celebrity, or in the alternative sleeping with celebrities.
Her attorney’s motives are just as apparent if you watched their interviews closely on Wednesday. This case now becomes nothing but being about money and recognition for Faber, Clune, and Wood. John Clune, Kate Faber’s first attorney, has been referred to as a "trust fund baby" by a member of the media that has been covering this trial since the beginning. It was said about Lin Wood, Kate Faber’s recently added attorney, that if he didn’t "stick his nose in the air, and wasn’t able to smell lots of money, he wouldn’t be here. "
Rumor has it that the judge in this case is considering finding Clune and Wood in "Contempt of Court" for going public and talking about the facts in this case. Apparently the gag order covers Kate Faber’s attorneys. Which has me wondering, if the judge does lock up Clune and Wood, will they be working on getting themselves out of jail or Kate Faber’s civil case first?
Laie hopes that there is a civil trial. Laie can’t wait to unload about what and who the real Kate Faber is really about. Laie’s testimony in the criminal trial would have been very limited. Limited to the extent and scope of what she could have offered testimony about because of the protection the Rape Shield Law would have provided Kate Faber. The Colorado Rape Shield Law would have kept a lot of relevant information about Kate Faber out of the proceedings, and away form the jury.
However, in any civil proceedings Laie hopes Kate Faber’s been honest about her background and activities from when they were friends. Kate Faber better be prepared to respond to all those girl talks that they had over a six month period that are going to come into play.
It appears to be all about money after you listen to Lin Wood talk about an even playing field. Lin Wood talks about how he wants to have people testify about Kobe Bryant's past sexual history. The only problem with that is there has never been any credible infromation about Kobe Bryant forcing himself on anyone. If there was, you'd have seen their name on the District Attorney's witness list a lont time ago. Kobe Bryant could easily be more of a victim of Kate Faber, than Kate Faber could ever be of Kobe Bryant.
Kate Faber better be prepared to defend everything she has done with members of the opposite sex, and what her reasons were for doing those same things during the time Laie and Kate Faber were friends. Maybe Clune and Wood might explain in detail to Kate Faber that she won’t have any Colorado Rape Shield Law to protect her, or hide behind during any civil proceedings.
Laie has already been attacked directly by a member of the Kate Faber camp. They threatened to bring up Laie’s past sexual history and activities. They’ve made reference to Laie’s drinking and past drug use. The only difference between Laie and Kate Faber is that Laie has been up front and honest about the fact that she did most of what they’ve accused her of. What they also forget to say is Kate Faber was right there with Mandy and Laie doing those very same things.
Laie has said up front that yes she was involved with the same game of going out and looking for guys just to sleep with for the night. Kate Faber wants to pretend it never happened. Laie admits to Kate, Mandy and herself abuse of drugs and alcohol on a regular basis. But Kate Faber wants to deny it.
It was with Laie that Kate Faber discussed the fact she was pregnant, took the test at Laie’s apartment, and showed her the results indicating she was pregnant. Has anyone heard Kate Faber deny that took place?
Kate Faber talked with Laie about who the father was. Faber indicated that she wasn’t sure but that it was between Matt Hurr and one other guy. But she was pretty sure it was Hurr. Another situation where Faber admitted to Laie the reason she couldn’t be sure of the facts was because she slept with more than one guy within a couple of days of one another. Let’s not forget that Faber confided to Laie that it was Mrs. Faber who drove her to the clinic to have the abortion. Has Kate Faber denied this?
Kate Faber is no innocent angel here. Laie believes Kate Faber is making up this story about Kobe Bryant. When Laie first came out with her story a couple of months ago many questioned her, and said she was only doing this for personal gain, and not for the truth of the matter. Most of these people have now come back and apologized to Laie as they see this case start to unravel, and as it's become very clear that the only desire Kate Faber and her attorney's have is to make money off of her "alleged" rape.
John Clune and Lin Wood went on television to put pressure on the DA in this case to drop the charges. These two, along with their client Kate Faber only have one agenda. It’s not an agenda driven by justice, rather an agenda driven by fame and their greed for money.
Laie has no ill will towards Kate Faber. However, Laie believes because of how well she knows Kate Faber, that she is lying about being raped by Kobe Bryant. Laie believes Kate Faber’s past activities and representations is-so-far-as not only wanting to sleep with celebrities, but her plans to lure Eminem into a hotel room prior to the Kobe incident speaks for itself.
I’ve been around long enough to know when someone is being honest and when someone is a liar. If they intend to put Kate Faber on the stand with her story, then you can bet the defense will put Laie on the stand to tell the real story about Kate Faber. I can assure you of this. When the testimony is complete, Laie will have Kate Faber for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Desert. Not to mention the midnight snack Laie will have before going to sleep.
