Well.... thanks.

He started smoking in the last two years as well, which is bad.

You're all right, though.... the reason he doesn't talk about it or draw attention to it is because he's embarrassed, but also because he wants to maintain his dignity and act like it doesn't bother him. Better to be a fat person who appears content and not caring about his weight, than one who is always complaining, depressed and whenever a fat-loss infomercial comes on TV, saying "Hey, I should try that!"

And it's all about environment.... he still lives at home, and his parents eat some utter crap. Every time they go shopping, they bring home massive amounts of garbage and pack the fridge and pantry with it.... chocolate, cookies, fried foods, sausages, gallons of soft drink....

.... and this guy drinks about 2 litres of orange juice a day. I think he's gunna be a prime candidate for diabetes.

6'2" and 210lbs. That weight sounds pretty good to me. Are you sure you are not just too hard on yourself? It sounds like that hitting the gym is where you need to concentrate rather then just a diet, unless you already are. Don't get me wrong, having a good diet is VERY important, but you need to hit the weights too!
 
Yeah, i'm 5'11" and 220 now, so you can't be that bad ;)

However, i dream of 180. Shouldn't be to much longer. If i stay on pace i should be close to 200 by New Years. I just want to hit 180 by my 22nd Birthday (next May). That way i can have a Birthday Cake :-p
 
I know, I'm 6'-1" 202 and am tryiny to hit 185-190 before I start a bulking phase. I hope to be there by New Years too! I start my diet Monday!
