Just started Oxandrovar - some questions

185lbs, guessing 12-14% BF
Training for 8 years
First cycle was 7 months ago with Test E and Epi for 12 weeks. Kept about 10lbs. Retrospectively I probably should have done a shorter cycle for my first time, recovery kinda sucked.

Took a break, now I just started Oxandrovar. I wanted to do a 4 week short oral cycle due to life scheduling stuff.

Only 3 days in. Feel great in the gym, increased strength and endurance. However, I have a troublesome issue of insomnia. I am tired as hell all day (except when lifting) and then can't fall asleep. It's like lucid dreaming. Very annoying. As well, I am trying to cut down to 8% BF but if I keep calories and carbs low I go very hypoglycemic (with shakes and sweats and nausea). I literally need to stuff carbs in every 3 hours or I feel sick and tired.

My schedule is:
6am - 1 pill oxandrovar + 4 caps n2guard, 30 min run
6:45 am - protein shake with glucose
7:15am - go to work
7:45am - breakfast at work, scrambled eggs and sausage with oatmeal
10:30am - shake
12pm - lunch (we get free lunch, maybe a turkey sandwich on wheat bread or if its pizza I will go get a tuna salad)
3pm - shake, 1 pill oxandrovar + 3 caps n2guard
6pm - lift
7pm - shake, glucose
7:30pm - dinner of veggies with lean meat (tuna, chicken)
10pm - casein protein
In bed by 11pm.

So I'm trying to follow this to get in 2200-2400cal for a cut with lots of protein and less than 200g carbs. But I have been getting hypo and needing to eat a biscuit here and there and craving mad sweets, ruining my attempts at a cut.
Also the sleep thing.
Suggestions?

bro, STOP TAKING OXANDROVAR AND N2GUARD AT THE SAME TIME... they need to be taken several hours apart... read my article on how to properly dose here... Properly Dosing N2Guard with Oral Steroids - Evolutionary.org
 
Damn, must have missed that article. Didn't see any instructions on the n2guard bottle so I just assumed it. Thanks Dylan, will change it up starting next dose.
 
I always dose my n2guard away from my orals. You'll notice a big difference in effectiveness
 
taking your orals with grapefruit juice is also something that absolutely makes a difference... I have noticed a significant difference since I started doing that... The grapefruit juice helps with the absorption thus making your orals more effective... Little things like this and spacing your dosings properly make a SIGNIFICANT difference in the amount of gains that are made...
 
Wow...I had no idea about that one...time for a trip to the grocery store.
Makes sense though, as grapefruit inhibits the main CYP pathway in the liver which is responsible for metabolization of most drugs, increasing their levels in the body. Good tip.

space the n2guard apart from the ph consumption.Up carbs and water intake.Add a stimulant to the mix

All these things will help fight side effects of being letargic.But the stim will add to the insomnia problem.
 
You will probably notice a difference on the way you feel just by spacing your N2guard and Oxandrovar doses accordingly. However, I'd also recommend increasing water intake and change more of your carb sources to slower complex carbs, which will give you a steady supply of energy throughout the day to help with the lethargy
 
if everything else doesnt work and you stuck on using 2 caps.. give a coupple of exta hours inbetween dosages.
 
So I spaced out the n2guard away from the ph and added in some natural granola to my diet and am drinking over 2 gallons of water a day. Definitely felt better the last 2 days...more energy and drive. Sleep thing still there tho. I have to wake up in less than 8 hours and I'm just lying here...I'm gonna ride it out for a few more days and see how it goes. I do fall asleep eventually but its broken and lasts only 3-4 hrs. Feeling beast in the gym tho and muscles are definitely pumping up.

So last night I was lying in bed with T-6hrs before wake up time. Just felt uncomfortable and overheated. Went to go pee and I noticed a burning in my chest. I remembered that reflux can mess up sleep. Took a spoonful of baking soda...burped up gas for about 5 minutes and tried to sleep again. This time I felt great, comfy and fell asleep within 15 minutes. It was acid reflux keeping me awake....so simple.

That's good. I noticed zero sleep sides while on Ox I actually slept better but I suppose the low dose trenavar could affect some people differently. I had some slight lethargy kick in week 3 but wasn't anything significant like a superdrol PH lethargy
 
im glad you figured it out... i knew it didn't have anything to do with oxandrovar... there are side effects to address but that is not one of them... keep spacing everything out properly and also, if you take your orals with grapefruit choice, they absorb extremely well and it is eve more beneficial to your gains... try it...
 
This grapefruit juice option sounds great. I assume eatin a grape fruit would work just as well? Or should Oxandrovar be taken on a pretty well empty stomach?

This grapefruit juice option sounds great. I assume eatin a grape fruit would work just as well? Or should Oxandrovar be taken on a pretty well empty stomach?

it makes no difference with or without food... i just squeeze some juice out of my grapefruit that i eat every day and take the pills with it like that...
