Either "just a thought" or could have been a Seinfeld episode.
Here it is: How many people here wash their hands after going to the bathroom? Have you ever asked yourself why, with the exception of actually peeing on your hands.
When I get up in the morning I take a shower and lather up everything very good. I then put my clothes on which includes tucking my junk into my underwear which is where it remains until the first time I need to pee - usualy a couple hours later. During those couple hours my hands touch everything imaginable, door handles, stair railings, etc... you get the idea. So...by the time I take that first pee, which do you think has more germs, my hands or my dick. If anything I should be washing my hands BEFORE I pee. Does this make sense to anybody else except me.
This probably comes from catholic/christian influence on society - sex is dirty and so is everything that has to do with it including our genitals. They're dirty so we must wash ourselves after touching them.
