It's not in your head!!!! I can't believe after this amount of time they don't have you fully recovered!! It's been a year now hasn't it?
WOW
So I'll mention it & I'm sure get some smart-assed remark & after the 7th Circle of Hell week this is been I won't be in the mood for his bullshit...
Let me know what is said... curious!!jenscats5 said:1 year since the accident (Feb 1st) and it'll be 1 year since surgery April 1st....dunno what "normal" is regarding ACL graft surgery but from what I've heard from others is that you're not back to "normal" (and that's regular, slightly active people normal) till 1 year or more from surgery, so since I'm an "athlete" of sorts maybe my recovery is just longer??So I'll mention it & I'm sure get some smart-assed remark & after the 7th Circle of Hell week this is been I won't be in the mood for his bullshit...

I think still your knee should be better then what it is... Just a thought.
You had the muscle development there and there should be no reason that an athlete wouldn't recocver faster then the couch potato who may have had tha same surgery. I mean look at my mom she has had 2 full knee replacements. Her knees bother her at times, but her recovery and flexibility was regained within 4 months!!! And my mother has a LOT,, o.k. LOT of health issues and does not work-out. I just think your PT may have been what's to blame, or the doctor who did the surgery.... I have had some crappy PT. You have to be agressive in your own recovery. I think massage would have helped and can still help get more mobility back into that knee.
Sorry your dealing with this and your bad week![]()

I'm still around, but found it's MUCH easier to do my log in Word via a thumbnail drive so I can update it at work as I go instead of writing everything down & typing it up here -- got to be way too time consuming and my time has become quite valuable......

Aveda -- just reading your post I'm smelling the products I could be immersed in.

2) AVEDA makeover!!! OMG, IAveda -- just reading your post I'm smelling the products I could be immersed in.
And as for your knees and recovery and this "orthopedic doctor"... good Lord, that is so frustrating! I'm happy the oil felt good; I'm annoyed that he isn't more proactive or sympathetic to your case it seems.
And the week from hell should be over soon! Hang in there, girl!![]()
florencia said:Jens when you had your knee operation...what was the recuperation time?
Mauricio still has his knee "open" the initial wound was operated on and seemed to be healing ok...BUt when his fever started, and Drs realized there was another part of his leg
outer quad contaminated they made a lateral insition to drain and clean area affected, and he is being treated as if he has ostiomelitis (bone infection) because MRI came out with a possibility of it being infected...
So knee still has not healed and he has part of the initial wound still open, and will not be sutured until MRI comes back clean...
No after the whole story...
If you had knee surgery how long was in inmobilized if it was ever...
I am just trying to get all feedback...about time of scarring process...and normal life so wound will not open up..makes sense?
You ate a cookie!!!!!

I didn't want to continue to hijack short-one's log so I decided to post in yours.
I tried the Walden Farms marshmallow dip and it was great.
I mixed together
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup strawberries
1 serving of Walden Farms marshmallow dip
It was a tastey snack and very filling.

Well, no luck in finding the Walden Farms dips in the store here - checked 2 places & no go.....will have to stick with ordering it online....
jenscats5 said:^^ Don't have anything like that here........DE has *nothing*.....LOL!! But we at least have Trader Joe's!!
Went to a posing class up in PA today - and even checked THREE different grocery stores & NADA....no Walden Farms.....so it'll be ordering online for me....
I *did* find however Walden Farms' Raspberry Fruit spread - it's AWESOME on oats!!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

bostongirl2you said:Huh, that sucks! One of my favorite things this time of year is hitting the farm stands for fresh fruit & veggies......and walden farms of course...lol
That fruit spread it to die for! They also have a marshmellow spread that if you put it on something and stick it in the fridge for like 5 mins....kinda tastes like frosting! Very good![]()
YUP I agree with you on that one, had the strawberry once as well and its also pretty tasty stuffjenscats5 said:^^ Don't have anything like that here........DE has *nothing*.....LOL!! But we at least have Trader Joe's!!
