I mean, does having sex without a relationship bother you?

I know you will be honest in your logic.

I stopped the one night stands, for the most part, after undergrad. I stopped booty calls about seven years ago. So, the short answer is that I only have sex with the chick I'm dating and I only date one at a time.

The "chase" doesn't thrill me like it did when I was a young man. I didn't have to "seal the deal" to achieve the sense of "the kill." If I got the hawt chick back to my bed and naked the night I met her it was just as good as sealing the deal.

I did something similar when I first attended college. I was devoted to a goal and its achievement was more important than things I considered trivial. I have no desire for children so developing a relationship to nurture children is out of the equation which leaves sex for carnal or egotistical satisfaction. I've transcended both...

I have friends that give me all the "companionship" I need, they're all married men that have wives that are typical. They don't want to discuss anything of substance, their wives, they want to hang with the guys to discuss politics and important issues. I can post about any number of very successful and intelligent women I've dated that chose US Weekly and The Bachelor as the highlights of their intellectual activity. I don't need a girlfriend to find a reason to hang out and discuss important issues with like minded individuals, my friends.

Your ideals rock, and you really believe in what you stand for, and I amend that, me i'm so fickle sometimes its flat out disgusting... trust me, I respect your steel drivin ideals.

However abundance, internally/externally as well as social ideals are what drive you, I mean you need to feel that you are in respected position of influence to feel well 'comfotable'. When and through, your journey, you will start giving back more and more.

My professor who is writing a book is the same way. Only in the last 2 years is she really making huge gains in overcoming her perfection. Which is how she got to where she is.
