Is white fish ceviche good for protein?

Usually when i'm working out and dieting to get cut in the summer time I get my protein mostly from chicken and steak, lately just from chicken. For some reason I'm having a hard time digesting red meat ( I don't sh*t right when I eat it now)( and I want to stay away from it as much as I can. How about ceviche, I have never been a seafood lover but ceviche I actually like because lemon is my favorite flavor, is it good source of protein? what about the acidity if i eat it every day since it is very easy to make. Is the acidity from lemon juice bad for me in longer run?
 
the best fish you can eat is fish you catch yourself.

if you are too lazy to do that then buy wild fish from a reputable place. many commercial fisherman i know in real life, and you would not like the types of stuff i see.. fish off ice for hours, trading dead fish for live fish, etc. they make money based on how many pounds of fish they bring back.

fish is dangerous if not iced immediately as bacteria will start growing extremely fast. fish left in the hot sun even for 15 minutes dead will go bad.

the worst fish you can eat is farm raised. avoid that

and do not ever eat fish if you visit 3rd world countries, that is the dumbest thing you can do next to drinking the water there .. i know a wedding group where they didn't listen to me and half of them got food poisoning. why would you eat salmon while in mexico? salmon doesn't exist in that country.. DuH! obviously it is shipped in from god knows where and you better hope it was prepped right and on ice that entire time
 
Seafood is a fantastic low fat protein source. I actually eat more fish then chicken/beef myself as well. Seafood is much leaner then poultry/beef and contains the essential omega 3 fatty acids. The omega 3 fatty acids increase muscle insulin sensitivity. They are also anti-infmalatory in the body and needed for proper brain development and function.

Just make sure to purchase wild caught fish. Farm raised fish will be fed GMO corn and soy. Wild caught fish will be caught in the ocean and the fish will have eaten what fish should be eating - little fish, plankton etc.
