I'm trying Keto diet for first time.
Low Carb Days:
I read that the acceptable number of carbs allowed on low carb days varies some from person to person. I was tired & miserable on 20-30 carb gms but felt much better spreading 60-70 through the day. I checked my keto stick every few hours for a couple days and showed slight to small amounts of ketones even at 60-70 gms. Is this acceptable? Are the sticks accurate enough to rely on these readings?
High Carb Days:
Also, I was wondering whether I need a full 24 hrs. on carb days. Does this depend on the number of gms you actually consume? My preference would be to eat 24 hours worth of carbs in fewer hours (ex. lunch through supper Saturday) and get back on the keto phase if this is acceptable
