is this the sources responsibility

I placed an order and about a week later the source told me the package was on the way. After a couple days nothing had showed up so I emailed the source again. The souce sent me a tracking number and I checked the status of the package via internet. It said tha package was delivered but there was no such address so it was returned to sender. The only problem is the source used a fake return address. According to the tracking number the package is stuck at a processing center. My question is this...I for a fact gave the source the right address because I checked my email to make sure. The source has my money and I have no products. Should the source be responsible and ship me the products again? Or should the source try and retrieve the source from the processing center? Let me know, I don't know what to do.

The source should rectify the situation if he wants to keep a good rep. If he doesn't well then u really cant do anything except call it a loss and find a new source.

He should work something out with you.

Did he tell you he'd resend lost or seized packages? I would clear this up with a source before any order (of course hypothetically speaking only, I would never order anything illegial

He should resend and make this right. Just tell him what you know and see what he wants to do about it.

Hopefully you checked this guy through a Mod and if things go sour give that Mod an e-mail....

He shouldn't have used a fake address with all the Anthrax scares lately. That's a major red flag right now.

If he's got your money then it's his responsablity to get the goodies to u...if something goes wrong he should make amends.

And I agree with gotmilk...using a fake return addy is almost sure to attract unwanted attention with the Anthrax scares going on.

It's on the source not you. The fucker may have sent a pack containing an old pair of socks, intendtionly to a wrong addy with tracking just to work a scam on you. You know that a pack was sent and that you did not recieve it, there's no way for you to know if anything of value was in it. I would check with a few mods for direction if I were you.

Well if you gave him the wrong address its on you. Also you may not even want to order from him or get another order as this seems kinda fishy. Perhaps the packages contents were found and they decicded to return to sender in hopes of catching your source. If I was you Id call it a loss and move on.
