Is this a good low carb diet?

Going to consume a cup of coffee for that caffeine kick then start off with morning cardio 40 minutes on treadmill.
After cardio I would start off with meal 1 and then continue the diet as shown below
Meal 1: Banana <--Immediately after workout

Meal 2: 5 Egg Whites <-- 1 hours after meal 1

Meal 3: Tin of Tuna <-- 3 hours after meal 2

Meal 4: 3 Chicken Breasts <-- 3 hours after 3

Meal 5: 2 Grilled Salmon <--- 3 hours after meal 4

So I was wondering if this is a good low carb diet?
NO Flaming guys!
Thanks!

Without carbs, what is your body going to use for energy ? In Bill Phillips' book, Body for Life, he says carbs are fine as long as they are eaten with a protein, but avoid the sticky kinds like white rice and white pasta. Eat whole wheat bread, brown rice and wheat pasta in moderation and with a protein. You are trying to avoid the insulin spike which happens when carbs are eaten by themselves.

Just my .02

It is not a "low carb" diet you have posted, it is a "no carb" diet. There are no carbs at all in your diet. Anyway, I do not like your diet, Sol Rosenberg gave you good advice.

What could I change in my diet plan? Also, I thought my body could use the fat stores as fuel?

My favorite way to burn fat is to do cardio in the AM on an empty stomach. Your glycogen stores will be depleted and your body will use fat as energy. Like I said above, you need carbs for energy, just the right kinds and with a protein to counterbalance the insulin spike.
