drop them eggs faster? I mean, once discontinuation of BC has occured, months have passed. Rumor is it takes anywhere from 1 day to a year to get them eggs a droppin, is there a drug that can speed this process up and meet a brother half way?

Not always....I took the pill for 10 yrs and got pregnant right away after I stoped...Most women start ovulating right way some take a few months. It is all in the timing!

It normally takes at least one month (1 cycle) min for the body to adapt to a hormone change, but a doc will say give it up to 3 months for the body to adapt. If nothing is happening, then definitely look to an OB/GYN for advice. I'd be really hesitant to self-medicate in this case. Like they said on your other post, clomid is used but just because someoen said "use clomid" I wouldn't run off & start popping it w/o advice from a doc.

yea i wasn't going to have her pop any clomid on my watch lol. thanks for the advise

Are you (she) experiencing this right now? I.e. no menstrual cycle or any other sides? Or just involved in the "trying to get pregnant" phase? You'd probably be told to give 3 months between ending BC & starting trying to get pregnant - I guess maybe a general safety window for the BC to "clear her system". After that, assuming everything works right, I guess its just time. If there is an issue, the OB/GYN should be able to measure "fertility" or something like that.

were in the trying to phase, she's been off for more than 3 months...maybe its me though. Prob. wouldn't hurt to have both of us go in to make sure our stuff works huh? Would i go to a urologist then? I need a referal to get that right?

The urologist would be a good place to start. Check your insurance on if you need a referral or not. Sometimes you do need one to see a specialist - sometimes you don't.

Good luck! :rose:

There are female fertility drugs. The risk is triplets or more.

Best to keep her saturated with swimmers and let nature take its course.

How is her stress levels??? That alone can affect how quickly her hormones will regulate out too... Mine took a year after I dropped the pill.

GOod point as well T - my period pretty much disappeared when I went away to college - gone for 4 months, back for Xmas Break & then gone again for spring semester. Weird - stress is a powerful thing.
