Is it possible to lose 20-30lbs in 5 weeks??

I am surprised that no-one has mentioned DNP yet, I think DNP + a clean diet and the right cardio is the fastest way anyone could possibly lose weight.

DNP in the wrong hands (hell, even in the right hands) is bad news.

But if we're giving people the fastest/most dangerous method of self-destruction rather than the fastest/healthiest method of fat loss - I'm in agreement with you Lee.

I don't know if any of you have been watching the biggest loser, but one of the females on there said she lost 31lbs in 5 weeks

You're kidding right. People like are gullable. You believe anything. By god if it's on TV then it has to be true. Sounds like to me you really have no desire to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. You just want a quick fix. As mentioned by velvett. You come here every few months and ask the same damn question. So apparently you have done nothing to change your weight. Maybe you need to quit watching fukin tv ie--biggest loser.

Even if you do lose 30 pounds in 5 weeks, just for the occasion, with that attitude, sooner or later, your husband or boyfriend will cheat on you. A man hates to have a girl fit for the wedding, fit for the company dinner, fit for the picture, but fat in the bed. That's a scam. And this is a real advice.

Impossible to lose that much FAT in 5 weeks. You'd need to be ~2880 calories deficient every single day (and that's only under the strictly theoretical condition that your body takes all of the calories you deprive it from bodyfat, without eating away at any muscle). My guess is that "missprettie" is a woman. Unless she is an abnormally tall woman with an abnormally large amount of muscle mass, chances are her body doesn't even burn that many calories per day. Even if she did burn 3000 cal/day she could only eat about 100. And even if she did eat 100 cal/day that itself would kill her metabolism. It's a lose-lose situation.

Cyrex, initially losing 15 lbs in 2 weeks from CKD certainly does not mean you're en route to losing 30 lbs in 5 weeks. You know much of that was water weight, so your weight loss (*weight* not fat) will taper in the weeks to come. Also, as previously stated, you're much bigger, and you're a man (and I'm assuming you have more muscle than missprettie) so your metabolism is inherently higher.
