is it just me, or is it hard as hell to drink a gallon of water everyday?

Live in the desert, take ephedrine. You'll be sucking down 2 gallons a day.

When its colder out its tougher to do.
 
It IS hard to drink a gallon of plain old no taste water... but, I can drink almost a gallon of crystal light flavored water a day.
 
ive been filling up a gallon every morning and trying to get it down but it seems i get only halfway done by 9pm and have to start chugging lol
 
I drink anywhere from 1/2 a gallon to 3/4 of a gallon during my workout, then i have another gallon at home mixed with 1 container of crystal light and ill drink 3/4 to 1 gallon of that per day.
 
Fu@k yea!! It's hard as Fak! I can go maybe 3days most doing it and I have to force myself like chugging it all in the morning to get it over with. Try smart water or Fiji. It's not heavy and doesn't have a dry taste like arrowhead so it goes down easy w/o no hassle.

Im not paying extra money for this, its water i put the jug in the sink and fill it up.
 
Lol, I always have a glass filled and everytime I look at it, I chug some. Go through a ton of water during workout.
Not that bad.
 
I guess i will become one of these d-bags that takes a gallon of water everywhere to make sure i drink it all.
 
When im at work ill refill a 20 ounce every 45min and drink it during that time. Now that my body is used to that amount of water i get insanley thirsty if i dont get 20 ounces every 45 min.

So once your body adjusts hormones to a higher water intake you will have no problem getting the water down.

It's easy once your body gets used to it. Eventually you'll feel borderline septic if you go a bit without at least downing a pint. there have been times when I was on that I'd have a small coffee in the afternoon and I'd feel so dry it seemed like I had no water all day. it's just like being full all the time in the beginning. Every day feels like you just ate Thanksgiving dinner, but then you're starving by the time it's time for your next meal.
 
Just keep a 32oz Gatorade bottle full of water with you all the time. Encouraging to make you drink. Helps me I can get down 2gals a day just from sips no chugging
 
I have a gallon down by lunch everyday. I also drink at least a half gallon during my workout. I piss all day long too.
 
i drink 1 gal water and 1 gal milk ed.
 
The drinking I don't mind so much.

It's all the pissing that I find annoying.
 
Kinda off topic, but like 5 years ago during spring break in Panama City Beach, I drank a gallon of beer before a Lil Jon and TI concert on the beach, lol .
I filled up an arizona iced tea jug and pounded it with an hour.. thats like 11-12 beers, lol
Ok maybe a little less than a gallon. and now I'm rambling, very off topic,
I am drinking water right now! :)
 
Oh yeah i drink a gallon of milk on top of that... pussy! ;)
 
I wake up at night about 4 times to pee :(
 
I'm one of those duesh bags you talked about that carries the gallon jug lol..

it makes knowing how much you've had much easier.. and beats the hell out of multiple bottles to keep track of...

I clip my keys on the jug handle and it serves an extra purpose..
 
Wow to all those who say they also drink a gallon of milk a day. Thats over 200grams of sugar and 1600 bad calories if its 1%. WHY?
 
Looks like I will have to be a dbag carrying a gallon jug of water everywhere to get this down every day lololo

bad cals huh?

its not 1%. it is whole milk. the reason is bedcause it is a great mass builder. it is one of the best if not the best. give it a try when your trying to build and you will understand.
 
I drink a lot of water and pee way too much. Everyone says I have the little baby bladder. I like to drink out of a cup that is about the size of a large or super sized coke from McDonalds. Somehow this always tricks me into finishing it and getting another glass when I am done. I am bad and at a restaurant drink so much water sometimes they just leave a pitcher for me. Doubly worse since I like to drink a large beer for lunch and stuff.

But if you have trouble maybe try a different sized container that looks more appealing. I don't think I could as easily drink so much drinking from those big jugs I see people carrying around.
 
I probably dring between 2-2.5 gallons a day. I typically have to get half a gallon down in the morning just to catch up from overnight. I usually slam down two pints as soon as I get out of bed. Of course I am just a bit bigger than most.lol

204 grams sugar
128 grams fat
124 grams protein

Same amount of sugar and fat as 8 cups of icecream, add 2 scoops of casein to the ice cream and you have the same nutrient brake down as the milk.

You wouldn't eat 8 cups ice cream a day, so why do the milk?

its not glucose though, and its very anabolic. And its easy to chug down. high protein, and if youre like me you stay ripped no matter how much you drink :)

Milk is one of the best choices for gaining mass. it also builds strong bones, great source of calories, the saturated fat helps raise testosterone levels, good source of protein. the sugar is lactose, its not table sugar like they add in ice cream and soda. milk is anabolic. its just as good as red meat, imo.

im at 1/2 a gallon a day so far, slowly upping it. and milk makes crappy protein powder taste better.

Hahaha, just wait til you come off, itll leave you with less testosterone then you started with. Enjoy eating chicken 5 times per day. when i can just drink 16oz of milk and get more calories then 8oz of chicken.

the calories from the 16 oz whole milk (288cals) will not be used the same way as calories from 8oz chicken (336 cals)

this 20 yr old fool did a natural show this may at 6foot 200lbs and won. he's now doing second cycle after his first bulk which got him from 200 lbs to 265lbs. He's at 243 12%. he might know a little something about training and diet and aas.
 
theres no reason for this to head the direction its going. we disagree on the quality of milk thats all.

16oz of whole milk is 300 calories (150 calories per 8oz serving), 8oz of chicken breast (tysons or purdue and almost every other chicken breast ive bought) has 24g of protein per 4oz serving, and 120 calories per serving.

all im saying is, milk has so many benefits including extra calories that are easy to consume. for example, after a big meal, you can wash it down with a glass of milk for more calories. it seems like you want to keep bodyfat around 10% or so while putting on mass hence the reason why you prefer chicken steak and fish only. but imo, to put on alot o mass, you need to eat alot of food and calories and eating too clean in the off season is cutting your gains short.
 
i have no problem with drinking tons of water, but going to take a piss every 15minutes it's what pisses me off. lol

I was refering to 8oz cooked chicken which is the way most people measure protein.

Its fine if you drink milk, its better than nothing in terms of gaining mass. I agree with you that need lots of food to put on mass, I was getting 6500 clean cals (45%p,40%c, 15%f) my last bulk and got up to 23% bf.

Back to the water topic:

The last week before my show I was doing 3gals of water and had pee every 15 minutes, not fun
