Injury Advice please...

Hey guys,

I injured my left shoulder doing shoulder lateral cable flies a coupleof months ago. I was feeling strong that day and went pretty heavy (for me anyways) and felt great. The next day.. I started during my chest workout.. I felt this pain in my rear delt. I can't do anykind of pressing exercises for shoulders or chest.

I went to see a sports medicine specialist and he told me I didn't tear anything.. and all it was was that I had inflamed tissue.. and gave me some Celebrex. Have you guys ever heard of this stuff? I have been on it for a week now.. and still no difference. I can't do shoulder presses with more than 25lb db's... I used to do 80lb db's for my heavy set before the injury. I have always worked thru injuries before.. but this one does not seem to be going away.. actually it is getting worse.


Have any of you been thru this?
 
I've had terrible shoulder injuries in the past so bad I could hardly lift my arm up. All you can do is take some time off and rest it. Try to work around it just as long as you don't aggravate it anymore. If you keep pushing, it will never heal. Spend this time blasting legs, that's what I did.
