Injection glute still sore.. rookie mistake?

Don't have search function.. sure this is asked all the time. But, I appreciate the feedback.

Injected Deca on Monday... glute still sore Saturday. Kind of red like someone slapped me on the ass. Feel like I got frogged really hard. Haha.

Anyways.. my first shot was easy..

2nd shot.. my bro wasn't around to help out.. and I'm like f.. it. Have to do this sooner or later by myself.

I poked the first time.. and couldn't get stopper to push down but maybe .3 CCs because of pressure. Withdrew... aimed again.. then aspirated and got er done. Felt about the same as the first.

Made 3 mistakes that I know of.

1. Shot the same side as last week.
2. Didn't massage the area as much as the first time.
3. Had to double stick myself.

So.... what's the story? My bro just laughed and said yeah, sometimes he can hardly sit at work. Haha.

450mg of deca 300.

thats funny..my buddy injected 300mgs of decca a couple weeks ago, and it swelled up into a perfect red circle about the size of a paper plate on his ass, was red and warm and raised of the skin slightly, went away in a couple days, PM me who makes the stuff

450mg of Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate - 300.

With deca 300 you will get a little "reaction" at the site for the 1st few injections. You're ok untill it gets red/swollen and hot to the touch. Just make sure you press the needle in SLOWLY and also press the plunger down SLOWLY as this helps with pain/soreness in the future.

Well.. not swollen. But, it is red. Definantly feel like a little knot there. Been sleeping on my stomach and left side all week. I figured if it lingered for 1 week it means I did something wrong. I'll admit.. aspirating is not easy for a newbie. And my buddy keeps telling me I don't need to do it. But, I think I'll stick to the protocal from the boards here.

I'll admit.. aspirating is not easy for a newbie. And my buddy keeps telling me I don't need to do it. But, I think I'll stick to the protocal from the boards here.

ALWAYS aspirate! Your buddy is giving you bad advice. The site should only stay sore for a max of 4-5 days. Just make sure that you're not inserting the needle like a dart. You hold it like a dart but don't go jamming it in real quick. Once you go past 7 days of pain, I would consult a doctor and possibly get some antibiotcs.

thats possible, but take the time and push the gear in slowly anyway, if it takes you a couple mins who cares

A 25g is ok but mostly for delts and other places. A 23g should be used for glutes. I've even used a 18g once or twice for a glute inj. It wasn't by choice, it was all I had at the time. It def hurt more that 23g's do but it was probably sore only a day longer that usual. Get some 23g's bro and use them for the next inj. Keep us posted

WELL... Haha.. it's not much better. It's kind of pink and blotchy over there. With a numb itch. Hit my 3rd inject on the left side yesterday and felt great. Today... haha. No reaction.. but, my ASS hurts bad on both sides. Maybe I'm not rubbing shots in good enough? Going to be a long cycle if I don't get better at this. HAHA!

Pink and blotchy but is the inj site warm to the touch? If so, you gotta go see a doc. Hopefully he's a doc that you can trust. I wouldn't worry too much about that though. The worst he could do is get your insurance cancelled. You prob need some antibiotics. I'd get it taken care of before it gets bad bro. Again, keep us posted.
