Im so tired of getting sick!!!!!!

Well fellas yesterday the 4th I started to get bad flu symptoms. I was about to start me diet and my cycle today for my contest!!! FUCK why does this have to happen to me at such a bad time????

Sorry for the downer thread but I had to vent to people that would understand.

Yup, sucks bro. This year has been horrible for cold/flu shit all over the country. Gotta suck it up and start anyway. The contest is when it is. Just be happy its now and not a couple weeks before, ehhh??
 
Same thing over here. Just got the nasty flu. I was taking olive leaf extract and vitamin C ED but it didn't protect me! Even a strong immune system can let in a virus or a bacteria.. :(

Low carb diets dont' do much for immune function. Also, low progesterone is bad for immune function.
 
this f(*&%^g cold/flu/sinus infection has been dogging me since right before Christmas......a lousy time of the year to feel miserable!:(
 
I hear ya. I've been sick for about a month now and its really been hurting the gains I made off my last cycle. I lost about 8lbs from it so far. I hate this shit.

My daughter and I both had a cold before Christmas, then my wife had the flue, and then I caught the flu. I have not been to the gym in 2 weeks! I am still hacking up crap and sound bad but finally feel better. I take vit C, a multi, 400IU E, cold-eze (zinc), garlic, and got a flu shot. All that and I still have been sick twice! This has been a bad flu / cold season.

I understand completely. It can be depressing as hell. My wife and I have had some wicked back fights just because of the additional stress of being so worn out from being sick!

thanks guys. I work at the gym and I just got sent home for looking like crap. And the whole time I was there people were like hows the diet???!!!!

Trytoliftalot- It is pretty simple. My main goal is to get plenty of protein and keep my carbs around 200g.

Flu sucks.
I just keep training but it's hard when you feel like crap.

Also, you get people looking at you in the gym like you're crazy working out while coughing and sneezing!
 
this year i got a flu shot and i am thrilled to say i have been cold/flu free. i even flew over the holidays which is normally when i get something. last year i got the flu from hell and vowed never not to go without the shot again.
 
Why drink green tea. I take the concentrated extract. 2g worth. I would have to drink about 100 cups a day. Add gplenish to that and 1g Vit. C and a GNC multivitamin and I have not been sick all winter (knock on wood).
 
ive gotten sick twice this winter while on my bulking cycle!!! which has affected my gains and especially eating! i feel ya bro, take it slow for now and get better first!

yeah i got the flu shot too and havent been sick yet.

but either way the winter sucks. my workouts just arent the same, ya know?
 
day 3 of flu and I feel about 40%!!! Gonna hold out on my workout again :( !!!! I hope to be able to start my cycle and diet on friday.

i got the flu and pnumonia shot, eat well, sleep 7 to 9 hours a night and STILL got sick!!!!!!!! :(
 
i just got some cold symptoms after taking 2 weeks off from the gym.i am dying to get back but i feel like crap getting cold sweats then felling hot and fatiqued , i finally went back today and had an ok workout but i still feel like crap gotta get some extra sleep tonight.
 
I'm sick right now as well. I don't usually get sick, but so far I've gotten the flu/fever 2 times in the last few months. I have no appetite whatsoever and am eating about 2 meals a day. I guess now is a good time to take a week off from the gym. Yes I drink green tea, had 3 cups today! lol
 
Yeah same here... Since October I have been sick 3 times!!! I take all my herbs/vits, all that. Anyhow I think by friday I will be able to start my diet,gear,training...

Rest is the best thing when sick. Plus by going to the gym you risk getting us fellow bros sick as well. :) Stay home and fight it off :)
