I'm not much of a cologne guy anymore, but I want to get a bottle. What's the best...

gio is the shit agreed. Another good one is Chrome, ladies love the stuff

Nothing personal, but both are played out. Every guy I know has both of those.

Issey Miyake

I will put money on it that you will recieve more "oh my god you smell so good" than any other cologne .

trust me on this one...i had all the colognes and I held off on this one for awhile. I just got into it this year and i was shocked that every time i go out a random female will roll her eyes back and be "oohhh you smell so good".

I'm stuck in the 80's

Kouros by YSL, hard to find, slightly expensive, but a great scent that a lot of guys won't be wearing.

2 really good new ones I just got:

Prada - it's good, kind of weird (does it smell like soap or is it me?)
Gucci Pour Homme II - best cologne I've had in a long time

Seriously...a guy a few weeks ago was all impressed that I recognized his cologne (he was wearing gio). I was like, "Don't get too excited. I recognize it because you smell like three of my ex boyfriends." I actually really like the way it smells but we, as humans, have a tendency to attach memories to scents and I am never going to smell that cologne and not think of those three. But my own experience aside, it's definitely totally played out and common. Code smells good, too.

Thing with smell is, it works differently on every person because it mixes with our individual body chemistry. What smells good on one smells not as great on another. Get some samples and test them out. When you smell good, she'll let you know.

That's exactly why I bought it...it smells clean without being too citrusy or girly.
