Hey everyone, heres a little bit about me:

Height: 6'2
Weight: 230
Age: 18 (19 in Feb)
BF%: Not sure.. but probably 25.

This is the plan im going to try to do

DRINK 1oz. WATER PER POUND OF WEIGHT *EVERYDAY*
EAT 1gram PROTEIN PER POUND OF WEIGHT *5/7 Days a week*

(Sunday) Relax

(Monday)DAY 1*********

Complete back - Bicep - Abs

(Tuesday) CARDIO

(Wednesday)DAY 2*********

Chest - Tricep - Forearms - Shoulder

(Thursday) CARDIO

(Friday)DAY 3*********

Complete legs - Abs

(Saturday) Light CARDIO

Thats my plan... not right away, but as soon as I start working out. Right now im trying to lower my body fat first, then once I get it to 15% or less hopefully, ill start working out real good. Im watching what I eat, I play basketball for a few hours, then I jog a while whenever I get a chance.

How does it sound? Im new... so let me know my mistakes. (I do push ups and sit ups during this fat loss stage)

Training looks fine.

You have the general idea down as far as eating but just make sure you plan your meals. I've found it easier if my meals are planned one or two days in advanced. Also the BMR caculator will help with this as far as calorie intake.

Good luck with your goals. Don't attempt to drop a lot of weight weekly. Long term goals is the key. 2-3 lbs a week. Im sure that first week or two though, youll see a nice loss in weight. It should though level out to 2-3 lbs a week.

good job... looks pretty good.

Why forearm training? If anything I'd say do a set of forearm curls or whatever suits you at the end of back day when your forearms should already be pretty roasted/pumped.

y not work out while you're lowering your bf. lifting weights won't hinder that. diet is the key to weight loss. def use a bmr calculator and fitday.com to track your calorie intake each day.

It looks like nothing. Without your diet, there is no way to say anything or help you.

cutting is 80% diet, so post of your diet and we'll take it from there. BTW; the misconception of "I'll start light and add up training later" is entirely wrong: EVERY plan needs all three components: diet, cardio and weights. Avoiding any of the three is shortchanging yourself.

shit, im 19 now, WAS 18. I WAS 240 Jan1, 2005. My Goal was to be under 180 LBS by May wich was my birthday, and totally blew past the goal.

Pintoca is right on diet. 80% is diet. I would even say more since i only got to hit the gym for 1 month out of my entier diet (paid for a yr membership and it got shut down). SO i know 100% that DIET is KEY! I got my ABS from my diet, not my situps. HMM imagine that....

Well, I feel pretty good, I knew a little something after all hehe. Anyway this is my meals.

Breakfest - Eggbeaters - OJ - Milk
Snack - Protein shake/bar
Lunch - Lunch meat sandwhich or some chicken or tuna
Snack - Protein shake/bar (low carb)
Dinner - Steak, Chicken, Pork and salad (no carbs)

All while drinking plenty of water. Hows it sound?
