My appointment is tomorrow at 3:00 everyone wish me luck......I'm anemic..my blood count keeps dropping...they are gonna run a camera thru me end to end this has me worried...my dr. reccommended this Dr because he's a specialist in this...i hope it goes well.

My gf is off and on w/ being anemic. Its due to an iron deficiency in her diet. She is not a healthy eater, but I promised as long as she doesn't let her shit slide, I won't get on her about it. When she is anemic, the doctor prescribes she take iron supplements.

Good lord i really didn't expect many replies...well i didn't sleep good ,so i checked into the site as you can tell its very early morn......Even tho i;ve never met any of you i'm deeply touched by the responses that were posted ( and brickgirl...love and hugggggs to you also babe) I have good and bad news but right now i am just wasted...those tests put me thru the mill.....and i have info that alot you have the same problem but you don't know it...so being done with that i'm gonna try sleeping again...when i get up i'll go into more detail...sorry but i'm really tired from this...Those that posted...i'm really touched for your taking time to reply i never knew just how many friends i do have on here...bless you all........i'll finish this in the middle of the morn or prob around 2:00 today ............ Heres the update its internal hemmoriods 3 about the size of a thumb each,the surgeon said everyone has em but you don't realize it until they flair up,mine are thumb size each red as a cherry,surgury is required,kinna of a gross subject to discuss but thank god surgury will fix the problem,right now is my busiest time of the year so until lightening season dies out we're gonna do it around nov. i'll be on the disabled list for almost 4 weeks,so as long as i'm taking plenty of iron,& carao i should be ok until then.Bros let me tell ya that a bad place to be sick. Thanks for the suggestion for b-12 i'll add that also.I have already been hospitalized 8 months ago diagnosed with only 2 units of red hemoglobin in my blood the doc said a reg person has between 12-14 units they couldn't believe i hadn't passed out,but i was feeling really crappy. thay couldn't find anything that time but i required 2 tranfusions of blood.Thank god this Dr was a specialist,now i know my problem is treatable.Bless you all---i'll see you all on the board later!

If you have the time/money/inclination, look into a lawsuit against the doctor you saw earlier who did not diagnose the problem sooner. Talk to a malpractice lawyer. If you win, I'd like a steel-gray Hummer please.
