The ketchup, white vinegar, and brown sugar sounds good. Does this require a marinade time. I ask b/c this is what I'm trying to avoid....I have a bit of a tme restraint.
Mix up some rock salt, black pepper, chilli flakes / chilli powder. Rub some olive oil into the chicken then put the mixture over the chicken, should go nice and crispy and tastes yummy.

My local shop sells WEBER rubs. I use the Cajun which is REALLY good on ribs. Planning on rubbin up some ribs for tonight, and for a party next weekend. Then I set em on the top rack of the grill on LOW and let em cook nice and slow. Yeah, a smoker would be even better, but the rub beats hell out of BBQ Sauces for sure.
