No vagina for me until I get married.

I actually have some respect for you for this, mainly for sticking to your guns.

My question is, what's different about joosing? Sin is sin, right?

Everyone sins, sure.

We all rationalize why we do things we know we shouldn't.

All sin is not equal.

Obviously, killing someone is more serious than stealing a pack of gum.

It's easy to make restitution for theft. You give it back or pay for it.

You can't bring somebody back from the dead.

Anyways, in the LDS temple, I made a vow to God specifically to keep the law of chastity, which means no sex outside of marriage. I promised to do it, so I'm keeping that promise.

Just be a BYU virgin and bang chicks in the ass. It obviously applies to a very small % of the wimmins there, but that was something I didn't expect to come across with that whole scenario.

'Course this was way back when I moved out here in '97-'98, but I found it really odd.

I respect you sticking to your guns, BTW. It wouldn't be easy for you to find a one night stand willing to wear a welding mask while fucking you so she wouldn't be blinded by your lack of pigment, so I guess it's 6's.

My understanding of the Bible's take on sin, outside of blasphemy, is that all sin is as bad as the next.

Not being a hater, and obviously I'm a sinner (and jo0ser) I just never got around to asking what your opinion was.

You're goddamn right.

I live in UT and I've met gay Mormons that live very moral lives but will flip out if you use the jeebusgod's name in vain. That, over use of hairspray, and bad tipping seem to be key parts of mormon culture.

In East Texas, they're all attorneys and have HUGE families of insanely talented kids who can all sing, dance, play multiple instruments, make 4.0's and excel in multiple.sports.

It's fkn annoying as all hell....

I'm not religious or spiritual at all, but the LDS culture and faith really does impress me. I can lol @ american jeebus all day, but I'm a non-practicing catholic, and religions don't get much more ridiculous than catholicism. ,

I hate this shit. I'm all mr nice guy because of general anesthesia and I can't take ambien because I'm afraid I'll have a seizure. Kill me.

It's quite a commitment, I've known people who waited til marriage and they were glad they did, then again I know people who regret it since they were not very compatible sexually, it's a gamble

I would also like to add it's a damn shame there wont be a nice pair of breasts squeezed up against those pecs while grasping those biceps and later licking something sweet off your abs.... oh wait did I say that aloud? ;)

Just my opinion but um... Shouldn't you sample the pie before you buy it??? Just sayin bro. Good chooch makes the marriage last.

It'll probably help then if your better half will also be one. It'll make the potential performance deficiencies and resulting awkwardness much more bearable and understandable if you're both on the same page. She might not have the patience otherwise if she's had the D before and had it good. That could lead to resentment and cheating.

I hope you can find the yin to your yang.

Holy fucking shit god says all sins are equal in his eyes. Please never preach again

Are you going to give birth to an immaculately conceived messiah?

while i respect convictions, there is something inherently creepy to me about virgins in their late 20s.
and joose possession is a felony in all 50 states, i'd wager a guess that in LDS eyes there is no difference between
joose usage and other hard drugs such as crack, heroin and meth...and felonious behaviour would not be okay or accepted.
seems hypocritical to me

I haven't joosed in years. I confessed to my bishop and repented. I wasn't allowed to take the sacraments for a while because of it.

I don't use steroids anymore.

Creepy? Lol, how so?

Hes a buffet mormon

warren is a mormon? did not know that, harry reid is mormon too.
adam sandler needs to do a mormon song like the jew song he did back in his snl days.
i have no problem with those that practice faith, but those who preach a pure game but make excuses for certain vices/behaviour with some mental trickery/justification deserve some scorn.

Any sin makes you fall short of the glory of God and requires the atonement and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

In this sense, all sin is equal in the eyes of God because God "cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance."

However, that doesn't mean that the littlest of sin such as occasional cussing is as severe as murder or denying the Holy Spirit. That's just logical.

"I the Lord will forgive whom I will forgive..."

You think that Christ will plead at the judgment seat of God on our behalf if we are murderers the same as if we had occasional potty mouth?

Not everything is so black and white.

I find the idea of religion hilarious. Not at you....just in general. Knowing how a great piece of ass is, I wouldnt promise to not have it to anyone or thing.

If there really is some mystical being up in the sky somewhere do any of us think hes going to give a shit if you get a piece of ass? I doubt it. I blame parents for beating radical beliefs into their kids like this. Its bullshit.

Im not being up your ass about it Buff, I got no issue with you and your choices. Just a touchy subject for me. Besides...you brought it up:biggrin:

most religions support adiding by the law and oppose mind altering over indulgence.
if caffeine and booze are not permitted by mormons do you think joose is gonna be?

Caffeine is not prohibited and it never has been.

Specifically coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages.

My interpretation is that sin is sin in the eyes of God.

Humans are the ones who've made one seem worse than the other over time

Buffet, like go pick and choose what you eat at a buffet lol

Buffet, not Buffett

so i'm assuming steroids would fall into the prohibited category as well...

Obviously, recreational drug use is frowned upon.

I get where you're coming from. Have I done things I know I shouldn't have?

Yes.

Has everyone?

Yes.

The point of life is progression. Both in knowledge and education as well as self-mastery and spiritual maturity. God's commandments point us in all the right directions.

Just because you sin differently than I do doesn't make either of us better than another.

The goal is to bring ourselves inline and one with the Lord and his spirit. "Become one as the Father and I are one.

Having sinned a particular way does not justify sinning another way because "sin is sin".

Move forward. Avoid those things with which we are tempted and don't allow ourselves to turn other things into temptation and fall backwards.

Being hypocritical means to chastise and judge others with the same things you are guilty of. I don't chastise nor do judge others for anything the best I can.

My older sister was conceived outside of marriage, my cousin I mentioned in V's thread fornicated. I joosed.

I don't point fingers.

i cannot sin cause i'm more or less atheist and don't abide by your rules.
now, for the sake of arguement, and nothing personal...sinning is forgiveable, if their is an effort to correct mistakes...repentance imo is not something that allows for a continuation of sin...continuation of bad behaviour (joosing), whilst knowing it is sinful, and doing nothing to correct it nor stop it, is living daily in sin

I totally agree with you. You must have missed my post saying that I haven't joosed in years and no longer do.

Repentance is a lengthy process in the LDS church. Recognition ands orrow for your mistakes, confession to proper authority, discontinuation of sin and a change of heart turning away from that sin completely without repeat.

I swear I'm not being a dick. Or a wise ass bro. I'm being sincere......

You really really reeeeeeeeally believe all this "stuff" your talking about"? Really really?

Yes, I do.

If I didn't really, I'd have no problem saying "eff it" and bail.

"Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin." -John 19:11

*Jesus speaking to pilot after the Judas betrayed him. The "he" is referring to judas.

judas commited the "greater sin". Greater than what?...obviously pilot's lesser sin.

All sins are NOT equal.

Conviction is what tells us we have sinned. Go steal a candy bar, then kill an innocent person and come back and tell me which you are more convicted about...

I'm a 17 year old Christian, and I'm not a virgin. Does that mean I'm going to hell? I don't think so. I just don't understand what makes sex so inherently evil. I know what the bible says, but WHY?

Because someone said so. Thats why. Thats what religion is all about. rules made up a few thousand years ago to keep people in line. It helps alot when you wanna start wars too.

I don't know how anyone could take gear and not shag something?

I'm thinking maybe based on the consequences such as life creation/babies, diseases, love, jealousy, bonds that form with attachment, lusting or screwing after people who are taken

Repenting of your sins will apply the atonement's healing power of forgiveness and the Lord will remember your sins no more. He died for us as ransom for our sins. The unrepentant sinner will not be forgiven. "The Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance."

This is a very in depth answer, but I'll try to keep it short.

First, sex is not inherently evil. Sex is wonderful and spiritual, when expressed and experienced appropriately.

God ordained man with the power of procreation. Procreation is bringing God's children to the earth. That is a serious responsibility, and God would have us bring children into the world in an ideal situation with two committed, loving parents to raise children with the guidance of the doctrines and commandments of the Lord that they may be raised up at the last day, counted worthy and inherit the blessings of the kingdom of God.

The misuse and mockery of the power of procreation is what offends God and jeopardizes a child's right to be raised in an ideal situation. Our mortal bodies are a privilege, and our bodies are temples of our spirit, and the spirit of the Lord is also in us and when we misuse our bodies, the spirit of the Lord is offended and withdraws from us.

Fornication results in bastard children, who have been forfeited the right to experience mortality as God intended and that is the blame of the parent.

Our mortal existence is short, but extremely important. There are things we experience, learn and go through that we can't in heaven. Jeopardizing another's only opportunity is a big deal.

Not only that, but self-control is also something that God expects us to have. Learning to be masters of ourselves physically and spiritually, not falling to the weaknesses of the flesh.

because it's a felony. Not exactly obeying the law of the land to comit a felony

So if I move to Mexico and joose I am not sining? What if i joosed in Mexico but i went back to US but I still have the joose circulating through my system cuz I used a long acting ester? Am I still sining

This is where I have issues with religion. So what does this mean exactly. My
Granddad who was a baptist preacher would say that "bastards" can't enter the kingdom of heaven.

To me that's a load of crap. Why should the son be condemned for the sins of the father?

Yeah if you murdered someone, God says come on in and join the party, but if you lived a perfectly good and kind life as a Jew or Muslim or Hindu or Bhudist or atheist, god says GTFO.

Brilliant.

So you are looking for a virgin. Good luck with that.

No not a virgin nust not a hoe and in the mean time I'm just smashing as many girls as I can so who ever I marry doesn't have more of a sexual past . I know it shouldn't matter and past is past but it matters to me

if you move to a island with no formal government is it okay for you to murder and steal?
if you lived in nazi germany would it have been okay to assault and rob jews knowing that the gov wouldn't prosecute you?
is it okay to be a drunk and over eater even though they are perfectly legal?
etc

Juicing in mexico is fine. You have to obey the laws of the bible and the laws of your land. So to the stuff you posted above its all not okay.

It is a load of crap.

Every person is judged according to their own actions.

Just because someone is born fatherless doesn't mean they are condemned.

What I was getting at is that children should be raised in a two parent home that raises their children to have faith in God and live according to His commandments. Obviously, it isn't always the case and there are many circumstances that arise to cause single parent homes. Parents do the best they can, hopefully, but it's been well proven that two-parent heterosexual homes are the best environment for raising a child regardless of religious affiliation.

Likewise, saying an infant that dies without baptism goes to hell is completely wrong, a child born out of wedlock is not condemned. How unjust and merciless God would be to do that, and He is not.

God is pretty hardcore and merciless bro, no confession and second chances stuff. Just look at the devil. Poor dude has never done anything bad to me and seems chill. Guy got banished from his awesome home and never to see or hangout with his friends again and will forever live in a hot, awful climate with terrible and sick peeps for company. And on top of that God says to blame all the bad shit on him and it sucks to be hated by strangers all over the world.

I actually don't go to church. I HATE modern day church.

Luci just needs some kindness in his life and a second chance from God. It seems like a good idea for churches and mosques to spend most of their time praying for the devil?

If God hears enough people praying for his mercy, then maybe he will decide Lucy has suffered enough and deserves a second chance. This will solve all our humanly problems and the sin levels would go way down. win-win! Im sure God can find someone else to run hell.

a bit different than using a substance for no other reason than vanity don't you think?
ask a priest about what he thinks, pretty sure he is going to agree with me about this.

The bible says to treat your body as a temple and is against pride/vanity. joosing isn't healthy and in most cases is being done for vanity, or a competitive edge which would be cheating, also a sin. Steroids anywhere is a sin, not just where it's illegal.

Is working out to look good a sin?

A lot of fastfood does make my booty larger. Is knowing altering my temple with chemically enhanced food a sin?

1 Corinthians 6 NIV - Lawsuits Among Believers - If any of - Bible Gateway
Read the whole thing. You cant take one verse out of context.. Its talking about sleeping around with prostitutes. Not putting unhealthy food/drugs into your body. And there are lots of untested competitions where steroids are not cheating.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Not out of context. Point being you are not your own. God gave you the hormones he saw fit. Adding to that is body altering, and it's not your body to alter.

1 Timothy 4:8-9

For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Exercising is good, but not paramount. The bible is against vanity but I won't pretend that I'm not vein.
As for food, the bible says not to be a glutton.

Actually, quite the contrary.

I let it known I was a virgin, and I started getting crap for it.

It was supposed to be a joke thread.

"No vagina for this guy." clearly was supposed to be funny.

Where was anyone talking down?
