I'm 34 years old and I collect sports cards

i tried collecting sports cards. But when given the choice of a 1000$ baseball card or 1000$ worrh of gear, the gear seems to win everytime.

I can understand that. I'm in a spot in my life right now where I can have both.

Good investment and fun to collect and search for.

I have a large collection from my college days (early eighties), and sold some Larry Birds, Danny Ainges and Magic Johnsons on Ebay a few years back.

Not profitable enough for me though, when I find a good one I'd rather keep it.

I used to love collecting baseball cards. Sold them all about 20 years ago, except 2 Reggie Jacksons personally autographed.

i had a barry bonds rookie card,,donruss,, where he is wearing the old style pirates hat..sold it 5 years ago along with a few others for like 50 bucks,,,i wonder how much it is worth now
