If only 1 excer. for chest?

I play a sport that requires lots of throwing, and have been told not to bench or chest. I like to look good but with no chest what the fuck can i do to make some gains while putting little stress on my shoulder ligaments and tendons?

I know you said no chest or bench, but I would choose decline dumbbell press. It always gives me a great chest pump without too much strain on my shoulders, like incline or flat does.

If I had to pick one chest excercise it would be incline presses. It stresses the joints but u asked for one excercise. I would not do decline alone. Picture yourself down the road a few years with that old man sag in the lower pecs.

Decline presses fuck my shoulders royally, I would stay away from those. But everyone is different.

I'd say dumbbell flat bench with a weight that you can lift in the 8 range. Just my opinion though.

That would be my choice for easiest on the shoulders, too. Personally, would go for the 10 rep range. But, that's just me.
