Iceburg

Is it true that iceburg (am i spelling that right? heh) lettuce has no nutrients in it? A few people just told me that, but Im not really sure of the extent of their knowledge on the subject, and until now I have not heard anything like that.

I wouldn't say "no nutes", but I would say it's about as useful as celery...

Why would you even bother eating iceburg? Pick a much greener lettuce and you'll be better off.

If you're looking for low calorie lettuce, you've gone WAAAAAAYYY to far in worrying about calories. You could eat a truckload of green leaf lettuce and not gain weight. You're better off with the good nutes in green lettuce a few more calories than eating iceburg lettuce.

Just my 2cents.
