Believe it or not we still have a constitution in effect here, without which there would be total anarchy. We have more liberties here in the US than in any other country in the world. 9/11 set us back some but it's still government by the people, for the people and of the people, which is more than can be said for most other nations.

well said. we may not have a perfect system but its all we have. i wouldnt want to live in any other country. sure there are other countries with more freedom. but you know what? anyone bitchin about how bad we have it here has no idea the opportunities that there are in the US. i may not agree with some of the things our government does and i am not into politics, but i am forever grateful to be an american citizen
