Especially if you have some loose skin or if you've had some significant weight / bodyfat losses, the skin will need a little time to catch up. You shouldn't have any problem w/ that - just keep the diet & training going and don't get frustrated. The results come, but not necessarily all at the same time, all visibly and all when you want them. I was struggling w/ some loose skin around my waist even at 7% bf a couple days pre competition. Diet & even consider some Yohimburn.
^^ I agree with what the ladies said. Congrats though! & Good Luck :)

No, Im not.

Okay - I just wanted to make sure since everyone was suggesting supplements w/o knowing if you were. If you were BFing, then you cannot take those supps. :) Since you are NOT BFing, then you can take whatever your little heart wishes. :)

Hope you are doing well w the little one!

My goodness you're tiny, lol you're smaller than me and I'm only 5ft, and getting on stage in 7 weeks lol.

Good luck with your goals and the baby :)

Is it true that breast feeding helps the mother lose weight? Or is that an old wife's tale?

it's true. since you're feeding two people, your body needs extra calories just to maintain your weight. I lost the weight from my pregnancy FAST, and continued to breast feed for almost a year. I wound up in much better shape post pregnancy than pre.

yup, you body burns 700-900 calories a day to make milk. you need to eat 500 extra calories a day to sustain this. so you end up with a deficit of 200-400 calories. but, you body also holds onto a layer of fat while bf'ing to maintain a milk supply.
