I would order a trial size myself, as I am picky about taste and would like to try it before I pay that much. My main concern is that it has a bit of carbs in it. Maybe one day George will make a low carb protein powder.

But seriously, all the guys I have read on here love it. They say it is the best tasting. (The better reason I wish there was a trial size sample.)

Try my personal " Ranger Gorp "

12 scoops of Triple Threat 3/60
5 tablespoons of all nat. peanut butter
2 packs of regular oatmeal
5 to 10 ground egg white
4 B-6 tabs...crushed
4 ginger root tabs...crushed
Cinim. powder to taste
nutmeg to taste

Mix as best you can, add spring water, nuke in micro-wave for 1 minute
Mix again, add more water, nuke

Repeat process until it's thick and smooth....put in the old Ref. Then eat a few tablespoons before and after workouts....need a quick pick me up snack....have a few

Get wax paper, roll out with a rolling pin, cut into bars, wrap in wax paper....BANG...Ranger Gorp Protein Bars

Tastes great.....less filling....tastes great....less filling....

I have had the Vanilla and it is REAL good mixed into my oatmeal or in a shake.

As for Ranger's own secret recipe (I STILL think "glop" is better suited to describe the texture (tee-hee)....matter of fact I was supposed to deliver a freshly mixed batch to the IronGod and FitnessChick. I am quite ashamed to admit that there wasn't all THAT MUCH left to deliver...HEHEHEHehehhahaohaoahhahahaa
