The same agency bmom deals with regarding her kids (same state).
my brother is coming for a visit and he's a ward of the state (different state). I had just gotten out of the shower and was starting to make brownies when the bell rang. It got me nervous, but i was told it might happen (some surprise). my house was clean and the woman was very pleasant and i was looking like molly homeaker at the time.
but.
I have bronchitis, so i'm coughing like crazy. and this woman was obviously a smoker and was also coughing like crazy. she was probably... in her late 50s. Its hard to say really.
We were sitting in my living room and she's asking me some questions. everything was fine and we were laughing. Then she asked if there were any problems. I said, "other than my family tree doing a spiral when it gets to me, no."
She starts laughing. and coughing. I'm laughing and coughing.
Then she JUMPS up and starts apologizing like crazy.
and i realized... she peed on my leather couch. She clened it up but was SO embarrassed, i felt bad for her.
