I hate rest days too, because I always seem to have more energy on my workout days. Even so, I consider rest days as my "payment" for hopefully a long future of great injury-free workouts.
My program now is one day on, one off, so I get lots of rest days. But I can feel how tight my muscles are from the day before all the time on this program, which makes me want to go use them
Even if I could just run across the street and do a max deadlift I'd feel better
yup, i HATE rest days too, unless it happens to be the day after i have done some self-mutilation (see: good mornings). but i usually do some kind of lifting throughout the whole week, whether it be recovery/rehab/etc.
