Tell that to the thousands of people who, this very second, are sitting in a cage for nothing more than possesing a plant (weed).
If there is anything in this world that truly belongs to use, its our own bodys, and we should have the right to do what ever we want with them.
today i saw people cutting down poppi fields in alfganistan. Then i hear the farmers saying how they are in debt, that were already paid for their crops, that were destroyed" The govement promised to give them 200 - 300 dollars (i think it was) while the crops were worth thousands. To add insult to injury most farmers havent gotten any money beacause of coruption. Wheat, the crop they will be forced to plant in the poppis place only eatns them 20 percent what the poppi did. I was thinking to my self "my god, these people are gonna starve". Yet heroin remains, and will remain, easer to get than beer, for me anyway, and probaly most people under 21.
I dont think that drug use isnt a problem, but when you take a problem, especaly one as big as drug use, and sweep it under the rug, it doesnt go away or get any better.
And locking up over 1 million people for haveing drugs on them IS sweeping the problem under the rug.
I think when people say they hate COPS, they are reffering to the job, not the person behind the job.
has anyone seen that bust on tv were they cops staged a WEDDING to bust marijunana dealers. It was so sad casue after they arested them all the cops got drunk to celibrate. Alchohol is at least 100 times more dangers than marijuana. I know first hand, alcholhisim is in my family bad, my grand father died on a bar stool from cirusous of the liver. I won't drink more than 3 or 4 times a year, mainly on holidays.
