I finally got TRT! But I have a question

Im giving myself the shots, I picked everything up from the pharmacy. The only thing that sucks is that they are 1ml vials, not a 10ml vial, but I guess I could still split up the injections to 100mg 1x/week. He is a general Doc, but was still really cool about everything. he seemed to understand that I needed test. In about 6 weeks I have another blood test to check for blood count and total testosterone. He said if I dont feel better from this then he would get me on anti-depressants, but I know I dont need those.

I will stick to what he is saying, but do 100mg 1x/week instead of 200mg 2x/week. That way I wont be on a roller coaster.

Hey Sherk, when you were still low and he bumped up the doses, did you say you felt good or did you say you still didnt really feel it?

He told me I'm in range but in the low side of mid range. When we initially talked he agreed to get me to the high side of normal because of my activity level and age. But I did tell him I felt no different.

Ok so I should probably say I feel no different if its on the low end or even midlevel range of normal...I think at 24 I should be on the high side too, especially with 2 kids and the amount of physical labor my job entails

I did not like paddock brand. I use Watson now and like it much better. It only comes in 10ml. When insurance made me switch to paddock about 4 weeks in libido dropped and started to fell like I had low T again. That could be just me tho but I did Google paddock vs Watson and there was a little bit on it.

You can find charts where a 24 yo t level should be. Like I said a male doc will have a little more companion for the most part. He will ask and if your still feeling larthigic tell him. He may work with you.

I wouldnt screw around, do what the doctor says and see how the bloods are. if its still low he would probably prescribe you more

Thanks guys. I will tell him to switch me to 10ml once im done with what he gave me. I am not gonna screw with anything until after my next blood test, if ever. I guess I was confused because I thought I would see him first and THEN do a blood test, but it looks like ill do a blood test first, see the results, and be able to tell him i still dont feel the full effect, but definite improvement. I guess my levels should be in the 600's. And i was at 262 when I started lmao.

I will keep u guys updated, thanks for the responses

oh and as far as paddock, ive honestly felt a lot better since i took the first injection. I didnt realize it would hit me this fast, and maybe im just experiencing a placebo effect and think im feeling it when im really not, but damn my sex cdrive is already through the roof, i dont feel tired throughout the day, and i feel more motivated to do the little things like go to town, show affection, play with my kids, etc. So so far its good but its only been 2 days so idk.

One thing id like to mention is keep a close eye on your vials as you draw. Over the last 3 years of TRT using pharm gear ive had a variety of stuff and on occasion I will get a vial that as it starts to get low I will notice a lot of the product has "gelled" on the bottom of the vial. If I notice that happening, I just run hot water in a glass and let the vial sit in it for a few minutes to redissolve.

It is Paddock Laboratories. I think the pharamcist told me that there was a 10ml vial in this one, I think he only ordered the 1ml vials for now since he was going to take me off completely if I didnt feel better. but once I tell him I feel better in 6 weeks, Im sure he will order the 10ml vials from now on.

Damn I wish he bumps it up to 800-900 a week. Well see how I feel though. But I would definitely like to be at the upper range of normal and I dont think 200mg 2x a week will get me there.
My husband is 59, been on TRT for more than 5 years (I'd have to pull his records, I think he started in 2006). He takes 1.5 ml every seven to ten days. If he gets his blood work within five days of his shot his levels are >1000.

BTW, congrats on murdering your testicles before you even hit 30. Good job. Why are you even bothering to go to a doctor? Obviously you don't need a prescription for testosterone. Go to Any Lab Now to check your levels and do your own dosing, you know better than the doctor, right?

Thank you bro, I will check for that. Can you just run hot water over the vial itself?

Thank you for the sarcasm, I dont know what the purpose of your post was. This isnt the chat forum, but yes, I did need to go to a doctor because I did have low test. I have 2 kids anyway already, and its not like Im going to be on a cycle dose. But with a test level of 262 at 24 years old, yes obviously I do need a prescription for testosterone.

Of course that doesnt mean I wont be supplementing some extra testosterone once in a while lol

and the comment I bolded is exactly why I was sarcastic. You clearly have no intention of following an HRT protocol. You fully intend to take juice on top of what's prescribed to you. You're a steroid junkie ... and even worse, you're an insult to people who really do need to be on HRT because of age or injury. You actually seem happy to have succeeded in trashing your endocrine system. If I were you I'd do anything, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING, to get my own hormone production back to normal, no matter how long it took. Not you, though.

You're a kid and you have the hormones of a 60 year old man. Good job. Hope it was worth it.
