I feel like I am starting all over.....

Motivate me tell me everyting is gonna be fine, I was getting close to squatting two wheels and my doc tells me not to tote those damn 45's and throw them up on the bar. I don't like depending on people to help me load the bar but I guess I am gonna have to swallow my pride and ask hubby to stick around and load um up for me!!:bawling:

Swallow your pride? Just think of how many times you've helped HIM. I'm sure he'll be glad to help you out when you need him. Isn't that part of being married? Taking care of each other?

Good luck with getting back into the swing of things. :) Before you know it, you'll be better than you were before. Think positive!

You'll be fine - nothing like a break from the gym to get you salivating all over those weights again :)

I have a questions for you though - how come you can squat 100kgs, but you only deadlift 45? Did you have an injury?

As for back training and slow progress - I've had the same problem - and I found out when I got a trainer a few weeks ago that it's because of form - you need to pull your shoulders back and down, contracting the lat as hard as you can, otherwise the traps and rear delts end up doing all the work, and you never grow lats. The difference in the feel of the movement blew me away!

Good luck getting back into it :)

Thanks everyone for the support and motivation. And guess what you all were right. Everything went just fine. The only exercise I had to lower the weights on was the wide lat pull down. And only by 10 lbs so I'll take it.

Litloak, I am sorry to hear about your dislocated shoulder, I hope that when you get back into it that you are as fortunate as me. Good luck.

MrPuddlesFl, Yes you are right , I have never had a problem with him wanting to help. I think it is more me than him. I am sometimes too independant. He would jump help me. If I would let him I would never have to load a nother single machine or bar ever. ( Come to think of it that might benifet me):D I chose to do it all on my own. We do work out together but I always pull my load. Thanks for your vote of confidence.

Steelweaver, You were right about the salivationg all over those weights again, :p I needed that fix, It is amazing how my whole attitude changed by the time I was finished. I was not down or depressed any more.
As for the deadlifts, I have never tried to go higher than that weight mainly because of my weak wrists. I am now looking for some very good wraps that may help me out. If you know of some let me know.
And thanks for the back advice.. I will try that for the wide lat pull downs, I will concentrate more on my form and see exactly what I am doing wrong. I know that I am pulling my shoulders back and contracting hard for the low row, but I think I am using too much shoulder and delt muscle for the wid lat pull down.

Thank everyone for the motivation, you gals are angels

Everything went just as everyone pedicted GREAT!!!!
