sweet! Cant wait to show you guys some progress pics tomorow. I definitely needed some help in the sholder dept. You have aweseome shoulders ann!
twins! yee hoo
i'm the premmie... i did mines on Friday... got under those 45s for my db presses... felt good to be back up there... going for the 50s next time... i have to laugh since there are very few guys in my gym who are pressing the 50s (yes i workout at a highly wimpy gym... our weights don't even go over 85s, not like that will ever mater to me, but i won't be picking up any ronnie colemans in my gym, that's for sure )
yeah, my shoulders have always been strong.. i think with a spot i could be doing 50s or 60s easy.. it's getting the weight up that's the bitch... on the hammer shoulder press i can load on 55 no problem... but that's cheating
hey... there's probably no way i'll ever squat 315... that's almost 3 of me!!!! hehe
a good friend of mine can squat well over 300lbs (and she's probably only got 10lbs on me).. she says the difference is really in the belt, but she also says that if she had it all to do again, she would not use a belt.... says her abs and other stabalizers are weak now... she can't do them w/o a belt now since her legs would not be getting any workout whatsoever
i've never used a belt on my squats... i'm trying to resist the urge to use one... i think beltless squats have been a key to my abs...and i love my abs... but i'd aslo love to push up 300 on a squat that didn't involve somebody else doing more pushing than me
Shit! According to my coach, this is my squat's goal for my next powerlifting comp!! Did you do any powerlifting comp so far? I'm 5' and 120 lbs, what about you?
