I am Coming back in FULL force to the Anabolic board!:)

whats up bro...I had made a post about this before...but long story short, I really want to target delts...thats it. NOt traps. I feel that since I over developed traps ( for like 3 years I would do traps and dumbell shoulder press, thats it ) that now when I do shoulder press with dumbells, or standing lateral raises, the next day the only thing soar are my traps. I don't know if that maybe I overdeveloped the belly of the trap muscle to the point that they almost ALWAYS respond. For one year I have not touched traps, and Feel my physique looks alot better (needed a XXL shirt for my wedding because neck didn't fit). Any suggestions?

I say my "methods" with as little ego as possible, I don't want to put my self on a pedastool as a guru, I just lucked out and happen to have info that is not as common as I thought and that tends to help Trainers of Bodybuilding:)

so please forgive me fellow freinds if at times I sound Guru-ish lolo its NOT my intent, far far from it

Do Chest on day 1
Then on day 2 do Deltoids with Triceps
In a way your delts will be fatigued minorly from the chest workout the day before.
Make sure day 3 has NO UPPER body work to allow full recovery of the whole complex.

My Traps always preferentially engage as well Str8cubano, from years of dead lifts.

You need to treat your delts with Finesse from now on.
Use the Smith Machine for your presses so you can divert the focus to the delt heads from now on, no more free weights.
It may take several workouts to find the new groove on this apparatus.

You delt Workout should be:
1:
Smith Machine presses to the front for 4 sets on the higher range of reps is 12-15. On the first round of presses only concern you self with Burn, not weight. In you mind say to you self I am using this as a pre fatigue and pump exercise.
After you finish take 2 minute break

2:
Cable 1 arm Lateral for 3 sets of 15 Same burn /fatigue / pump principle.
Slow, higher reps and BURN.

Take a 3 minute break

3:
Go back to Smith machine but go a bit heavier then the first sequence and do 3 sets of 9 for POWER
First set is warm up last 2 sets FAILURE.

5:
Then do 3 sets of 15 of Seated Dumbbell lateral but ONLY do the top 1/2 of the motion kinds like a humming bird flying lol:)

My old chest is sore and growing, and I don't have sore delts! Genius !
I always thought that going as far down as possible would strech the pec, which I'm sure it does, however, at the end of a set I felt my shoulders had been worked more then my chest. I do flyes with 60, 70, 80 lbs. 6 sets to failure. Same applies on the bench. 2/3 range up and down really nails the middle chest...THANKS BIG O! :beer:

i was in great shape before i started working with omega, but
now it's just CRAZY!!! even in cities like las vegas and chicago
people want to know if i'm a professional wrestler or a UFC
fighter lol. thank omega...........(but i'm tired of getting harrased
by strangers lol)
 
Well, I've read this thread with great interest. OMEGA - Sorry - I cannot wait for your publication.

Can you help me decide on a new workout routine? I had been doing
M Chest/Tris
T Legs
W Cardio
Th Shoulders/Abs
F Back
S Bi's/Cardio

I want to give the 2x/wk chest idea a whirl. How would you fit other parts in?
