Thanks for the tips PBR!! I'm starting slow with the running so I can build up.

Check ya later! ;)

Interesting but I still don't think I would ever run for pleasure.

The closest I have done to that is when I had a sudden impulse to take my dog for a walk at 11:30 last night. The sky was breath taking.

I've been teaching more and more kickboxing classes lately...and I'm having a lot of fun while I'm at it!

I just do it "on the side" for fun and to help me add to my "fun money" account...for my boobs! A girl's gotta have goals ya know. ;)

hey jenscats -

definitely check out races in your area. i just did a 10K turkey trot with my best friend this past sunday. we are doing an 8K in december - the rudolph ramble. :)

they are so much fun and you usually get great t-shirts and fun goody bags. now that i'm lifting heavy, i don't run very often - maybe once or twice a month when my best friend drags me out with her! but, i did the 10K with no problems...i think the excitement of the race really gets my adrenaline going!

Shak -- Yes, I live in Delaware. Thanks for the site!! Awesome!!

There isn't a race in December we would be available to do, but there are some cool ones in January!!

Dingo -- cool info. Thanks!

Hey JenZ--- I've been running for about a year and I love it--- It is DEFINATELY addicting---- you just have to be careful with how your body reacts to the impact- I've had a few problems in my joints and with my legs from running to the point where I had to take it light on my leg routine (eek!) Did you run the race on Thanksgiving???? - GOOD LUCK

Daisy-- Good Luck with the Training!

Hi PR! No, I wasn't able to run the T-day race but there is one on 1/18 that I would be available to do, so I'm planning on that. Maybe for Christmas I'll treat myself to some new sneakers.....

I ran 10 miles a day.. And it's very addictive.
I have a sciatic never that hurts now when I try to run.
I miss it. ;(
