I am after a good fat burner

Has anyone got any suggestions on supplements that work.
I am after a good fat burner, and also I need help in the energy department.
I seem to burn out before I finish training as the stuff I'm currently using is useless. I have tried a couple of fat burners but they seem to be slow at working. I have heard many prople talk about stackers and was wondering what that means. I have heard of many women here on the forums talking about cardio breeze, glucorell, rex, yes and others that I have never heard of here. Can I get some help or even some interpritation regarding any of these or even some suggestions of what I could take.
I am currently 5'4"
141lbs
bf% ?
I need to get those x-mas lbs off and prep for comp later this year.

Check any of the threads on AF Store products for details about those.

But seriously -- look at your diet first. Are you fueling for your training needs. I've never looked to the thermos to be the make or break part of my training. If you're getting tired before your session is over, is your session too long? did you eat enough carbs to support the session? HOw is your diet in general? I literally ONLY use thermos either for a kick in the pants to wake up for early AM cardio or for a boost gettign into the gym after a full day of work. I don't expect to rely on that buzz the whole time. If I start getting tired, I'll first check myself if I'm getting low blood sugar (cold sweat washes over you) - then its just time to leave and eat. If I'm starving - time to leave & eat. If I'm just plain beat - when's the last time I ate? Am I short on calories that day, etc.

Sassy, great points.

I use a lot of those AF products -- CB, T-rex, RED, etc. --and while I feel energized most of the times, the days I get SLEEPY or wear out... it's because I overloaded on carbs that meal. It's RARE, but you're right... crashing is diet-based. :)

You'll find alot of info on her about Thermorexin.. Many people highly rate it.. make sure you have a very clean diet and you workout often..

Here is a thread on Thermorexin

Yohimburn ES (YES).. Is a liquid form fat burner for those stubburn areas.. I use it allover... GREAT stuff! You would use that 20/30 min before a workout.. gives you plenty of energy too... Oh and exfoliate the area first before application..

My fav are, T-REX, YES and CARDIO BREEZE..
read through log's, Many people post up what they use on a daily basis.. But remember what works for each individual won't guarantee same results for you.. Try it and see...

AND WELCOME!

:)

I have never felt an energy boost from T-Rex. Many people do, but I am one that doesn't. It *does* give me more of a general awareness and clarity - but no boost. I love it for appetite suppressant and general metabolism booster.

Sounds like you might want to try Cardio Breeze for a boost pre-cardio or maybe even Red Blast for pre-weights boost.

Thermorexin is the most powerful. If you're a stim junky, used to taking lots of ephedrine or drinking 10 cups of coffee a day it will be easier to tolerate. I have seen women who have grabbed the arms of their chair saying "make it stop" because taking 2 at once was too intense for them while others are like DG who don't feel a thing. Her case is very rare so don't expect that. Like the instructions say, start with one and see how you feel before trying two at once.

I've used several diff. fat burners - Stacker, Lipo 6 --> they all made me feel jittery....

Cardio Breeze - I've used to get thru early morning cardio with NO jittery-ness, just a "need" to DO the cardio....

Trex - helped suppress my appetite some but it tends to make me a bit pissy, which is OK for weights but not in traffic! LOL

I totally agree with this!! With Cardio Breeze I WANT to do cardio, and once I get going, I keep wanting to do more. :lmao: While Stackers and such do give me "energy" it's more of a nervous energy. Plus they make me angry.

Thanks Daisy....I have heard of many of these on the forums but are unsure of which one do what as they are not available here. Is Cardio breeze a drink or tablet as I have heard of this before and have heard mentioned the different flavours.

Its like a liquid... Not as thick as cream...

Very light...

you can use it on the areas known as "Stubburn" fat.. Lower abs, hips etc.. Of course I use the damn thing top to toe. Tight tight tight!!! :)

OUCH. Why so much cardio?

I want to be in better shape for next comp as I wasn't happy with last results. I have a lot of trouble loosing weight no matter how clean my diet is or how much I train and do cardio.

This is why I'm looking to all you girls on here for help.

So what do you do when results slow down? Just adding more and more cardio? Are you doing 3+ hours a day? Aye Chihuahua.

Like Jen said, CB is a capsule .... just got it, haven't gotten to use it for cardio yet, since this cold of mine WILL NOT GO AWAY. Looking forward to using it though.

Thermorexin is SO AWESOME for a metabolism booster and appetite suppressant. I just love love love that stuff. In my opinion, it is SO superior to anything else you can buy.

I would hold off on the Yohimburn though. it is simpoly my opinion, but I think it would be much more beneficial for someone closer to competition and/or lower BF%. if you are already pretty lean, then I can see using it now, I just don't understand using it so early. I tend to think one should use it when they are a few %ages away from goal. But that is just me .... I know a lot of people use it year round and love doing it that way. it certainly won't HARM you, lol.

I just think that you should not throw in ALL the things in your arsenal from the get go. Add things in as you need them, when results slow add another aspect of supplementation/training/diet in, so your plan is ever-evolving and being tweaked. But that is just my thoughts. :)

Also - Glucorell-R is awesome for carb meals and cheats. When I have had cheats DAYS (all out piggy fests) I use Glucorell-R all day (capsules) and have seen NO increase in scale weight and noticed little to no water retention/bloat after cheats. Especially when water is kept high on the cheating days. Awesome stuff. Can't imagine cutting without it.

Sesapure seems to be similar - but instead of shuttling carbs, it does it with fat. I am using it for the cholesterol benefits though, not for weight loss. I take it daily (capsules also).

Red Blast is an energy/focus booster, but for weights. Can help with focus and lifts. I have not used it yet (again, this illness is killing me) but looking forward to trying it.

Dont do so much cardipo and keep the muscle mass, it will make you look tighter.

Thanks Daisy
I am doing roughly 1.5hrs daily
i will look into these products as there is absolutely nothing here.
Thanks for the great info and explaination of what these products are and are used for it helps me a lot with my decisions.
I have had no supplementation in the past and have done fairly well on diet and training alone as I really have no one to turn to for guidence and info.
I would love to have someone to train with but unfortunately with having kids it is hard to be there at a certain time each day. :)

As soon as I cut cardio down I tend to chub up within a few weeks.
For some reason no matter on diet, training or less cardio I seem to put on some flab around leg, butt and belly quite rapidly.
I am planning on starting the Shadow project in the next couple of weeks and see if that training program will better suit me.

I have only used Cb and that is only for pre workouts at 5:00 am when I have to go run outside in minus 20... its more to help me get through my workout than to burn the fat

Do you use anything to track your food? Like www.fitday.com??

Just curious ass when I *think* I eat ok but put it into fitday, it usually is horribly off......

I find that nearly all of the foods we have here are not on the list and I would have to enter almost everything in manually and I find it hard time wise to keep doing this.
I am going to try and fit as many in before I start my new program, so then I will only take a short time to log in each time.

This is a sample of what I eat:

Meal 1
Rolled Oats
(dry measure) 1/2 cup, 200 cals, 7g protein, 15g carbs, 6g fat
Skim Milk 125ml, 44cals, 4.5 protein, 6g carbs, 0.15g fat
Egg Whites x 5 175g, 15cals, 3.5g protein, 0.1g carbs, 0 fat
Flaxseed Oil 20mls, 156 cals, 18g fat
Tea + Skim Milk 50mls, 8 cals, 1g carbs
L-Glutamine 5g

Meal 2
Horleys Ice Whey 1 scoop, 128 cals, 30.3g protein, 0.4g carbs, 0.4g fat
250mls water
1 small apple 100g, 55 cals, 14g carbs

Meal 3
200g Chicken, 220 cals, 56.8g protein, 9.6g fat
Salad (unlimited), 80 cals, 2 protein, 13.2 carbs, 0.1 fat
Wholemeal Bread 2 slices, 130 cals, 6.25 protein, 24 carbs, 1 fat
1 small orange 100g, 38 cals, 0.3 protein, 8 carbs
Tea + Skim Milk 50mls, 8 cals, 1g carbs

Meal 4 Post workout
Horleys Carb Less Protein Bar, 220 cals, 18 protein, 1 carbs
Kiwi fruit 50g, 24 cals, 5 carbs, 0.1 fat

Meal 5
200g Lean Meat, 220 cals, 56.8 protein, 9.6 fat
Green veg 250g, 87 cals, 5.5 protein, 20 carbs,
Tea + Skim Milk 50mls, 8 cals, 1g carbs

Meal 6
Horleys Awesome Whey 30g, 121 cals, 23.2 protein, 1.9 carbs, 2.2 fat
250mls water

I totally hear you on trying to find the time with kids. My daughter is almost one, and it is HARD to balance time with her, my work (I work fulltime) AND trying to find time to workout on a regular basis. It is possible, just very challenging. :) You have to be able to change plans on a second's notice ... ya know?

Yes Daisy I hear ya. I have 4 so find it hard when one comes home and says I've made plans to here, there and everywhere else. I go whenever I get the chance, it could be any time of day dependeing on kids and hubby.
