How to Target Chest when doing dips

Ive never really been able to do this and I hear it is great for chest development. Does anyone have a good explaination or link with pictures so I can add this to my routine. Thanks

Lean forward and keep your arms out wider, rather than behind you (behind you hits your triceps more).

I take a wider grip, chin down, lean way fwd, and elbows wide...

I also use a "downhill skier" position to my dips. At least that's my description to the position :D

Everyone has neglected the most important point:

Look at the ground!

Where you look is critical in weighted dips. All you have to do is look up or forward and you roll onto your triceps.

To do chest dips you have to tuck your chin down, lean into it, tuck your feet underneath you, and look at the ground through the entire movement.

Also, make sure you're putting your feet forward instead of bending them behind you. It makes it much easier to stay bent over.

Another note: make a real effort to keep your elbows WIDE. Doing that and keeping that chin tucked, looking down, you can't go wrong.
