How can I go about finding out what the press is wearing??
If I had a sample or even got a glimpse of the whole thing,
I could Photoshop the same thing from memory even...
As far as the guard walking away... This is Madison Squr... I would hope they have better security than that...

I've spent 5 years traversing the arenas/stadiums of the country, so this can apply to any one:
security is the same rent-a-cop stuff you see everywhere. Soem agency supplies the venues with guys with 'security' t-shirts.
press/media passes u can see people wear the day of. It usually has the team logo, and undernath "ESPN 8/13" or whatever. I had tons of them collected over the years, but I threw them out.
Security gets busy talking to one guy, walking around the corner, helping someone carry a box, etc. Usually they just stand right in front of the back service entrance. Once u get past them - u can go anywhere u want.
Always walk like u r supposed to be there. When the show starts, have *any* kind of pass around - so no one will look double at you.
Or just find a young guy who works for the network - and ask if u can go in with him, cuz you've always wanted to know how it works behind the scenes. I've walked in a few stragglers and chicks cuz they asked nicely.
Or...simply buy a ticket. Way easier
(if it's espn and a sporting event - just tell the guy "Hi, Vince Doria from ESPN told me i could come buy and see how u guys work. I'm a vendor that supplies blah blah equipment". Make sure it's a sat or sun or fri night so no one can verify it
Dont drop the CEO or VP's name. They're not involved in production issues, and they'll call your bluff.)
