how the other half has done on IF

I eat between 5-9 (I get up at around 7 and I go to sleep around midnight, though my schedule fluctuates more)
he eats between 2-8 (he gets up at 5 and is usually asleep by 11)
and its generally only one huge meal with weird snacks before and after and some whey with almond milk thrown in for good measure)
I've even noticed my weight doesn't budge one way or the other if I drink wine or hard liquor..I hate beer anyway tho except a guiness like twice a yr

Im high protein and high fat...almost no carbs...hes moderate carbs min fat high protein

carbs just stick to my ass like glue
 
I just started the other day, fast between 8pm-12noon, then eat every 2 hours...not sure if this is right...up until 8 pm and then next day. I also train before work at 4:30-5 am, so no food after until noon. It is hard trying to get that many calories in a 8 hr period...but we will see how I respond. Shirlene, have any suggestions for me as far as IF goes and what I am doing so far? I too am high protein, low carbs, high fat...for now. Input appreciated ;).

Cool cool I am quite experienced with IF I have used it many times and am just curious to others approaches. One thing I couldn't get over was how healthy my skin looks after about a month! I used to fast from 8pm -130 then eat a few smaller meals ... Strength train at 530-630 then hammer out a massive meal. Along with whey shake. Never been so ripped in my life. Tad skinny though :P oats and rice or potatoes after working out with dinner and on off days low carbs.

One thing I found helpful was to have a green tea during my fast, seemed
To help me if I was feeling fatigued. And if you ever get the chance like on the weekend or something, hammer out some heavy training at the End of your fast, no food prior, then indulge,
I could literally feel the growth hormone pulsing using this method:) heavy low rep squats/ deadlifts/ interval sprints all will give a massive pulse in GH especially when in a fasted state!

the bcaa's really seem to help me immensely...as well as the other half...now getting him to take rest days..nother story/nother thread..though I think his forced day off because of his lasik surgery taught him the lesson I was hoping he'd get
what was funny to me was martin's site recommended xtend (watermelon) and I already had it when I read it over but never really loved it until I started the IF..now its like...liquid gold to me when I train and extra tastey

I don't have anything to add muscleaddict
what rustilldown suggests is a good idea...and I happen to train in the afternoon...so its kind of how my schedule works out

Thanks bro, I have drinkable, caps, and chewable BCAAs that I use pre/intra/post/inbetween meals...now fasting lol, and it isn't as difficult as I thought due to my love of food and cooking, kind of nice not having to eat for a while...then eat calories for the day in an eight hour period. I will welcome your suggestions bro...thank you.
