at your age you can abuse your body more than us older guys.

i remember at that age i was lifting 6X a week and running 3 miles a day in 90 degree weather. this was what was expected of us on the weightlifing team and we all did it. however i remember once i got into college i started getting back problems and i wonder if it was from the pounding i put my body through those 2 years in high school

I hear you on that. Ive been going to the gym 7 days a week for as long as ive been working out haha. I take a off day ever 14th day or so usually. Luckily my body grows from this and I love it!

Def gotta listen to your body. I been battling a stiff si joint for half a year. And ONLY recently I have put the ego aside and stopped squatting heavy ( for now... Until fully healed)
Funny thing , one week of no heavy squats, and my si joint feels a hundred times improved. Who woulda thought .

Maybe its a mobility or form issue then that you do when you start going heavier? Just a thought not sure

It was a form issue from trying to go to big . I remember when it happened. Ever since then I have neglected to properly rest it. I'm finally getting wiser.
