How much would you recommend this method?

lol, i get what your getting at bro. I have the omega plan. This is what I was thinking of mixing in with HST actually.

dam bro i wish i'd known that before i wrote that long ass post lol!


use the strategic deconditioning from the HST every 6 weeks.

use the training split from omega, not HST.

stick with 3 on 1 off for mass and 2 on 1 off for cut and polish.

incorporate a power phase for 4 weeks, and do this every 6 months.

revert to a 3 set schema 15-10-(5-7) burn, sub failure, faiure.
and stick to the principal of slow, strict reps even when in the 5
rep faiure mode.

there's a place for cheating, usually in a latter phase. cheating being defined
as: one or two reps past faiure, perfomed using assisting muscle group.
no momentum!!!!

Great split. I'm gonna start it monday. 3 on 1 off. Your saying just do the 3 sets as you listed though, not the usual 5 sets?

you can use the 5 method on beginning movement on large muscle groups
and follow up with the 3 routine on subsequent movements.

example: low incline DB press 5

flat flyes 3

hammer seated bench 3

this method has its advantages provided you have used the omega system
to a point of mastery.

the unique conditioning you got from the omega training will empower
you to take full advantage of this method and when you add the necessary
components from HST, man it will take you to a level that only a small
percentage of bb'ers experience.
