I don't like these types of threads.
They bother me.
1. everyone is different (weight is directly related to caloric needs... what 120lb dude can consume and hope to digest is different from a 230lb guy needs just to function on a fitness level)
2. People think too much.
3. Salmonella... I have yet to read horror stories about people getting it from egg whites. Buy egg beaters if she's that worried.
4. Eat healthy, eat lots of meats and veggies, clean carbs (potatoes, brown rice, ect) and spice it all up

And max amount of shakes: IMO depends on what kind of "shake" your using... there are other options besides the commerical GNC type stuff that make better all around use for our bodies.
