How much do you sleep?

It's weird for me. Monday starts out with about 8 or 9 hours but as the week goes on I wake up earlier and by Thursday its about 6 hours. I guess I just get caught up from the weekend.

6 hours max ! no matter how early or late I go to bed I wake up 6 hours later. It totally sucks because I don't work and I can't even take naps during the day.

I try to get 8 or more and I usually do. I stay tired during the day though, maybe i need more sleep!! I don't know if thats hurting our body or not. I know peole who get 6 every night and do fine, I guess there body is use to it. REM sleep is what really matters. If I remember corectly, your body will make up for less sleep if you get into a sleeping routine. Same amount every night.

If I have to go somewhere every day (say to school, or work) I sleep about 5 hours a day.

If I've got nothing to do (Like now) I sleep just at 12 hours a day. No more, no less! It sucks kinda, I just automatically wake up after like 12 hours.

The longest I've ever slept is 16 hours

I usually only get 6-7 hours, but I'd prefer 8-9. 6 hours is definetly not enough for me, but thats life. There probably is an optimum amount of sleep for max muscle growth.

Not as much as I would like. During the week, I get about 7 hours per night, but by Thursday, I am pretty whooped, and I always take a two or 3 hour nap Thursday after work. And I also take a 2 hour nap every Saturday and Sunday. When I was in college, I slept 9 hours per night, except for the times I was working in a bar, then I slept 5 hours at night and 3 or 4 during the day.

As you get older, you will need less and less sleep. Ever notice how early your grandma and grandpa get up? That is not a hold over from their work effort gained during the depression. They just don' t need as much sleep as you do. Anyone that trains and is less than 21 or so could probably stand to have at least 9 hours of sleep per day.

Just my 2 cents.
