I just finished doing military press. I only did 95 X 6 reps. Really screwed my shoulder up three years ago when I got cocky and thought I was a beast. Basically dislocated my shoulder and ended up ripping my tendons. Haven't lifted for three years and before I finished rehab recently, I still had subluxation of the shoulder. Three years ago I was doing 185 x 6 reps solidly.
My shoulder feels real solid now, but it's still scary to try to do these compound lifts. I know I'll get back to 185 eventually, but it's definitely going to take time. Moral of the story: don't be retarded and let 300 lbs on lat pullbacks rip your shoulder out of socket.
