How much Cardio Should I do??

Yeah I am about to turn into the darkside with some SUS and I was wondering how much cardio should I do. I am 5'11 175 lbs 10%bf but I don't want to get bulky I want to get fuckin' massive and strong. What should be my cardio schedule? I am eating like crazy too 4500 calories/day, 400g Protein, 550 Carbs, 50 g/healthy fats....Let me know I am a rookie:beer:

Sorry to tell you with those Calories youre gonna put on alot of Muscle and alot of fat. Your gonna get bulky Bottom Line, and doing a ton of cardio to make up for it kind of ruins the purpose of using the SUS.

I dont think that those cals are that outrageous. It is only 25*BW and he is on gear. I use 20-22 * BW when bulking w/out gear and have never had a problem w/ putting on a lot of fat.


Now to the origional question - Since I do not have any experience w/ gear you can take this for whatever it is worth (you would be better asking this on the steroid board) - I would limit cardio to whatever you ussually do or just a little bit for general fitness. Save those cals for what they are there for - to build mass.
 
With those calories I would do cardio 5-6 times a week. Make sure your heart rate is in the 80 % range and not the lower fat burn zone. I think you can put on some quality mass this way.

Well I think I would like to do cardio about 4-5 times a wk. What kind of pace should I do cardio, sprints or a light jog type?
 
Sadly, I am anti-cardio. I think you should do as little as you can get away with. The MOST I ever do is three 40 min sessions a week. You will be gaining muscle on this cycle, and that extra muscle is going to burn a lot of calories. Also the juice will direct a lot of cals toward muscle and away from fat. I think you should do minimal cardio(just to keep your heart in shape), and eat as many cals as you can without gaining bodyfat( monitor bodyfat level). Also you may get some estrogenic fat or water subcutaneously, and you should probably consider armidex, or liquidex if you want to stay as lean as possible during this cycle. I am also a big believer in sprint work, as it provides a more favorable workout for the white muscle fiber in the legs, and induces a better hormonal profile than long endurance activity. This is just from my own experience, with my own body; everyone is different.-WULF
 
why are you concentrating so much about cardio if you are trying to get big?

Cardio is mainly for cardiovascular health and/or losing weight.

I would do cardio on the non-weights days

I would choose to bulk or cut and not both. You will compromise gains in each department if you try and do both.

Think about it, your eating more cals than you burn to gain. Now your going to get on a treadmill and burn off some of those cals you just ate and compromise your gains.

This isnt to say i dont believe cardio has its place when bulking, but bottom line is if your eating to grow, your not going to get shredded in the process.

That only works for the guy who take muscletech supps.lol
