How many times a week for arms?

My arms have been stuck at 16'. I'm currently "off" I just started doing arms twice a week now for a total of 6 sets each for bi's and tri's. What kind of routine do most of you follow?
 
I hit arms once a week for 6 sets each for bi's and tri's...alls ets done to failure.
 
I train arms once a week anymore then that would be over-training. Try a different routine to shock the muscle into new growth if you are stuck at a certain point
 
i do bi's bi-weekly,,i read a recent article on flex mag and it showed the "Flex Gun Club" and levrone and coleman said they do bi's bi-weekly
 
If you are working back and bi's on different days than you are basically hitting your bi's twice a week. I work push movements together and pull movements on the same day and hit each body part once per week.
Mon-Back and bi's
wed-legs and abs
Fri-chest, tri's and shoulders
Like Joker said everyone is different so mix up your routine and try something new. If you are prone to overtraining and plan to add another arm day I would start out light. Just my $.02.
 
for me I have minor soreness from hard back and chest workouts so once a week for biceps and triceps is enough.

Keep in mind that the arms consist of small muscle groups and they can be easily over trained. The only people who can justify two workouts a week for arms are heavy juice users or doing a heavy and light workout split.

If you are off.......weekly is the most frecuent you will able to work them unless you are a genetic freak. Every other week would be a good idea also.....believe me I know what works when off.
